Here's a new game I thought up. I'll list a series of MST episodes and you have to figure out which one doesn't belong and why. example: 205 Rocket Attack USA, 511 Gunslinger, and 1001 Soultaker. The answer is 1001 doesn't belong because it is a Mike episode. That was too easy. Try this one...
k01 Invaders From the Deep 101 Crawling Eye 212 Godzilla vs. Megalon 512 Mitchell 513 Brain That Wouldn't Die 617 Sword and the Dragon 801 Revenge of the Creature 909 Gorgo

909 because there's no one in the ep number or because there's no "e" in the name of the ep, or Mitchell because there's no monster or because the title doesn't mention the primary antagonist.

I'm guessing K01 - Invaders from the Deep Reason #1: It's not available via fan-made videos. Reason #2: The other movies are live-action with people and that one is with marionettes.

Crap. I missed the most obvious and undoubtedly correct answer. Mitchell is the only ep not featured during the show's opening credits. That's what you're looking for.

But Invaders from the Deep wasn't used for the KTMA opening either, that was clip from another marionette movie called Thunderbirds in Outer Space. (got that info from here- www.mst3ktemple.com/ouch1.html)

Unsavory got it right, I thought the clip was Invaders From the Deep, oh well, thanks for the correction.
Here's a new one:
207 Wild Rebels 208 Lost Continent 209 Hellcats 210 King Dinosaur 307 Daddy O 410 Hercules Against the Moonmen 1001 Soultaker
(hint: the answer is NOT Soultaker because of Mike)

There's a lot of ways you could pick Soultaker but none of them are likely what you're looking for. No Dr.Forrester is one example. Never on Comedy Central is another. Besides that I'm currently stumped.

I don't think this the answer you are looking for but what the hell I'll give this a shot. Soultaker is the only one that didn't have an invention exchange.

I'll take a guess at 210- King Dinosaur, it's the only one where Joel doesn't have facial hair.

The battle was well met, but Van Hagar came out ontop. Indeed, I was looking for the goateeless Joel. I will now hand the game off to anyone else interested as our gift to you...

I'm only saying this to help out other people who may be able to expand on this. All of those eps have shorts. Some of them have two.
Also, all eps are black and white, (unless Teenage Caveman wasn't. Never saw it.) Could the answer be related to a time period? Maybe only one movie was shot after 1960?

I'm guessing The Beast of Yucca Flats.
The reason: The shorts served with the other experiments were released on video. (X Marks the Spot is on Mr. B's Lost shorts; Aquatic Wizards was on shorts III; Catching Trouble was in shorts II; Posture Pals and Appreciating your Parents were on The Unearthly video; The Truck Farmer was on the I Accuse My Parents video; Last Clear Chance was on Shorts II; Out of This World was on Shorts III; and the days of Our Years was on Shorts II.) Money Talks! and Progress Island, USA were never released on video. Shame too, Progress Island USA was hillarious.
To Unsavory: The Amazing Transparent Man and the Beast of Yucca Flats were made in the 1960's, although I Accuse My Parents was the only one on the list that came from the 1940's.

I'll just answer it, it was I Accuse My Parents. Why? Because the other episode's features begin after the first host segment.
