What are your guilty pleasure movies, i.e. movies you know aren't great but you love anyway.

We've done this before. I think Almost Heroes tops my list.

The '90s Gamera trilogy. I am somehow, inexplicably, drawn to these movies again and again.

I got to give this to Paul WS Anderson's films. He doesn't have the best scripts, but I always loved the sets, costumes, and visuals he provides. Mortal Kombat displays all of these beautifully, even with some crappy early stages CGI, and the brainless action movie lover was thoroughly entertained by the film as well. I also have a soft spot for Soldier, AVP: Alien vs. Predator, and Resident Evil for all of these reasons. And even though he didn't direct it, the sheer stupidity of Resident Evil: Apocalypse entertained me to the point that I name it the best worst movie ever made.

The Police Academy series. Oh man, I loved those many years ago - not sure how I feel about them now. But, I would watch them again just to find out. As for others, I mentioned them the last time around and will try not to admit them again.

I forgot about "Ice Cream man" A Clint Howard classic! Did you say that just to get me to quote you? 'Cause I will always jump in at the mention of "The Ice Cream Man". Clint Howard is THE man. A favorite, obscure, really bad movie is "Big Man On Campus". It's from the late 80s and stars Cindy Williams and Tom Skerritt. And I've never met anyone who has ever heard of it, although I'm sure that'll change, what with the film scholars around here.

Anything from the 30s or 40s. And Cheech and Chong movies. And Conan the Destroyer. It's hilarious.
