No, I'm with you on that sky. And MadDog I was speaking more to the riffing than the movie with "Sisters of Death". No matter the flick, it's up to the Rifftrax crew to make me laugh... and they didn't do that.
I am however enjoying City of the Dead - the riffing is livelier and more clever in several instances. I haven't finished it (I had to head to work) but so far, so good.

Anybody find with the new formats that the riffing is like 120% louder than the movie? I've been noticing that especially with the last handful of releases, I can hardly hear the movie but the riffing blares from my speakers.

^City of Dead seemed louder than the norm
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 1 I wasn't sure they could bring life to such a dull, drab, overlong feature, but they did. Hysterical riffing, one of their finest hours, or two... or three (movie seem to go on forever. lol)

I'm missing some of the synced newer movies. They need to sprinkle some in.

breaking dawn 2
i'm a little late to the party on this one. the OCD in me is so glad to finally complete this long, strange, mumbly, vacant staring journey. i want to send mike, kevin and bill a thank you note for all the hours they suffered, watching horrible special effects, - again - lots of mumbling - quietly discussing what might happen and how many might die, wolves think-talking to each other, laying lethargically in fields, staring blankly at one another, stammering and looking as if their gas problem has reached critical mass.
i liked the riffing in BD2 a little more than BD1, i think. i just recently watched BD1, so it is still fresh in my memory. i was going through some of the reviews you guys have posted, and i think it was MJ who said they didn't rely on the old standard jokes of the past movies as much, and i agree. that "line...line...line?...line..." at the end was the best and the running gag of "who gave emmett another line!? was funny (and accurate). ultimately, though, i think the first twilight and new moon are still my favorites.
as for the story...yeesh. stephanie meyers belongs on a psychiatrist's couch. introducing all those "family" vampires, trying to squeeze in all their neat-o powers - only added to the mumbling and posing. i was disappointed there wasn't as much team charlie in this one. i loved the scene where jacob - um - comes out to him. when he started unbuttoning his pants, i thought - i am SO glad rifftrax exists.
favorite riff: bella, looking at her baby for the first time - bill: what the...i gave birth to a digital baby??
it seems like only yesterday we were watching the first installment, as the guys made fun of bella and edward laying in a field of flowers as if they had just been mortally wounded somehow, to the final movie, where they were...laying in a field of flowers...oh well, it's over, anyway.

My Rifftrax Meetup group got together again tonight to watch Cyborg Cop 2.
Cyborg Cop 2 is an awful movie. Perfect riff fodder. It was as if they threw a bunch of cop movie cliches into a food processor and hit “pulse”. Psycho criminal nemesis? Check. Psycho kills the hero’s partner and best friend? Check. The hero is a cocky renegade who plays by his own rules? Check. The head of the government agency is a hot babe who hates the hero at first but will become powerfully attracted to him? Check, check, check.
I just want to know one thing: If you’re making a movie why would you have as your hero a badass cop who wears a leather jacket, rides a motorcycle…and wears a fanny pack? It just doesn’t make sense. Maybe he keeps the movie’s extra cliches in the fanny pack.
The riff was fun, although it ran out of steam in the last twenty minutes or so. But I had a good time. The callback to Rowsdower was an unexpected pleasure, and the fanny pack jokes were amusing.

fanny packs are hot...said no one, ever.
wizard of oz
unless i've missed them, i don't think i've seen anyone review this one. maybe there's a thread i missed somewhere. i watched it last night and it's definitely going in my regular rotation stack. a good watch. some very funny riffs - my favorite was kevin as dorothy when the good witch tells her the reason she didn't tell dorothy that she could have gone home when she first landed in oz was because she wouldn't have believed her (i dare you to diagram that). kevin: what!!? you told me you were a witch - i believed you immediately!! or something along those lines.
i also applaud them calling auntie em out as an old bossy crab. i never could see why dorothy wanted to go back to her so badly. head injuries are a bitch.

the bride & the beastvery funny. since it's an ed wood jr., you know it will be. dan fuller (aka - lance fuller, brack from this island earth & dr. ted in the she creature) marries laura. he waits until they are at his country house for their first night as man and wife to tell her he keeps a gorilla named spanky in his basement. the coincidence here is, laura used to be a gorilla in a past life! whoda thunkit? she doesn't seem to be upset at all when spanky breaks out of his cage, sneaks up on her and fondles her before ripping her nightgown off. after Big Strong Husband comes to her rescue, where does he take her for the honeymoon? africa, of course. another coincidence. so, like any honeymoon, i'm guessing i guess getting lost in a jungle is a good way to lose that whole gorilla plot, because you hear no more about it until nearing the end of the movie. but there is plenty for the guys to riff and it was all good. the only thing i had a hard time with was imagining the mistreatment the tigers received during the making. i don't think i'd willingly watch it without mike, kevin and bill. otherwise, good fun, if you ain't a tiger.

Crater Lake Monster. This totally campy monster movie is the kind of thing I love(I also love you can watch the movie without the riffing if you want to). The paleontologist who knows all about meteors; the sheriff who doesn't believe in monsters, the mustachioed characters who pop onto screen only to die five seconds later; the guys had me busting a gut.
Jack The Giant Killer. Haven't seen this live show in awhile and had totally forgotten the "seize the bone" line, plus the creepy leprechaun. Loved that they put the trivia slides, aka the pre-show funnies, on the DVD as well.

Not the typical "this movie sucks" thing but there was plenty of room to find humor. Yeah Oz was a goodie. I gave it high marks at my site. What I've watched over the weeks Yamboa made me snore Zindy had some incredible riff highs, but many riff lows as well. Movie has some memorable characters, but is tedious (I now loathe the flute) and that didn't help. Starship Troopers MP3 - a laugh riot, though you lose 2 riffs during the studio credits that were had during the live show, you do get new riffs on the nude scenes. The monotony of the actions scenes does wear thin, but the riffing was solid throughout.

Crossroads I haven’t listened to this one in a while and I was curious to see if it still held up, and it does. Very funny material (As when we see an accused killer strumming a guitar, Mike has him singing… “Murdering is fun, I like killing peo… hey!”). Though some of the jokes have become dated, overall it’s solid and I think it’s Mr. Nelson’s best solo effort.
