Yeah that is definite, they are also working with the guys over at DiVX to have a downloadable version, either for streaming or saving. It's just not 100% definite to be ready at the same time.

Ordered my copy yesterday. This should be a fun one. I'm hoping I get one of the autographed copies. I hear there is only a limited quantity of those.

I'm going to try it against the Netflix available DVD. If there are synch problems, I'll spring for the Rifftrax DVD. I'd also love to get the autographed version, but I'm not a fan of random chance.

I've also got the Image/NetFlix version of the movie. Here's hoping it works.

It is recommended that you purchase your Missile to the Moon DVD direct from RiffTrax, to avoid sync issues: www.rifftrax.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=90This is not a RiffTrax complete DVD. It is the movie only. The DVD can be purchased now and the RiffTrax mp3 will be available next Tues (more then likely) Thanks gammer for the info, ordered can't wait for this one.

Some folks on the RiffTrax forum have reported that they've recieved their Missile to the Moon DVD from RiffTrax already!! Anyone else? I don't expect to get mine in the mail (to Canada) for a couple more weeks

In case you didn't know already...
Some folks are reporting that the "Image" version of Missile To The Moon DOES NOT WORK with RiffTrax. I believe this is the one that you can find for sale on Amazon or to rent on NetFlix.
As stated before, only the Legends version of the movie will work with RiffTrax.
Some folks tried to get the RiffTrax to sync up with the Image version and did not have any success.

I edited the RiffTrax to fit the Image DVD. It took about an hour, because the spots that drift are random and frequent. The drift is never more than a second or two, and in the end I managed to get a perfect fit. But it wasn't easy.

I had the same issue when I used the RiffTrax for Plan9 and the Rhino version of the Plan 9 movie. I too got it to work eventually, but it was a real pain in the ass.

FYI, I just found out from RUDE on the RiffTrax forum, that there is at least 1 riff that refers to color. This means that you probably want to use the Color version of the movie to "maximize" your riffing pleasure

I watched it with the Netflix version and didn't have any trouble.
As JoshWay mentioned, the drifting was never more than a second or two, and I could easily follow what line of dialogue their riff was referring to.
I also didn't feel like I missed any humor for having the B & W version.
That's not to say you shouldn't support Rifftrax and buy the DVD, but I didn't think this way was a problem at all.
(It should be noted that I watch the DVD on my laptop and run the Rifftrax on iTunes, so synching is very easy for me.)
