Henry Rollins and nearly every single "country" artist who's come down the turnpike since 2000.

Ah, so you've met him then. I'll limit this to members of bands I have listened to and enjoyed. If I went for every musician I loathe I'd be here all day. First, Dave Mustaine. He makes me want to break rocks over his head. Whiny maggot. Phil Anselmo for turning into everything I loathe about rock musicians. And Axl Rose for already being there.

The "Who" guy was exonerated from all charges. But it goes to show you how damaging such an accusation can be.

nearly every single "country" artist who's come down the turnpike since 2000. Matt Well said. Also, any member of any boy band. (Of course, that's stretching the term "musician," I know.)

He makes me want to break rocks over his head. Whiny maggot. Phil Anselmo for turning into everything I loathe about rock musicians. And Axl Rose for already being there. I'm more inclined to put a bar of soap in Lars' mouth, but I guess that would make him choke anyway. I respect Mustaine as a guitarist and composer, and he has an eye for talent (not just for surrounding himself with guys like Chris Poland, Gar Samuelson or Marty Friedman, but he helped put Sanctuary/Nevermore on the map too). Still, that whole obsession with Metallica is ridiculous, and his voice occasionally does get annoying (I didn't mind his high-pitched Axl Rose-y whine on the first couple albums, but it bugged the hell out of me in his cover of "Paranoid"). I'm no expert on what Phil Anselmo has done/said outside of Pantera. I lost interest in the band when Great Southern Trendkill came out. He was okay during the "Diamond" Darrell era, but with each album, he was sounding more and more of a twisted characiture of those lyrics he was singing/screaming. Don't have the heart to strangle Axl. I had too much fun singing like Edith Bunker to Guns N Roses songs with my buddies after a few drinks. Besides, I think he ruined his vocal chords anyway and that's punishment enough.

i forgot @ Lars too...he is just HORRIBLE..actually...the entire band could fall off the earth only tooooo soon. everything AFTER And Justice.. SUCKS!!!! (sure i made a few enemies there...but ill accept that) Mustaine's voice gets on my nerves after awhile too, but i always kinda dug his politics...he's intelligent and i appreciate that in a metal band...besides...NO ONE can say that Peace Sells isn't a KILLLLLLER song. damn. i want to hear it now....Phil..Vulgar Display was last decent album from Pantera...but i really like Necrophagia...so i have no ill will towards Phil. ( why do i rhyme everything?...it's soooo unintentional) and i totally agree w/ wereworm re: Axl's voice being dead now. that IS punishment enough. besides, i totally rock out to Appetite and Lies....i just can't help myself.

Yeah, the first three Metallica albums were great, though they had Mustaine and Cliff Burton helping out with the songwriting on those. ...And Justice for All was alright, thanks to the song "One", but beyond that, the Metallica tank was running low. Their black album is one of the most overrated albums in metal. My expectations on Load were much lower than a lot of other metalheads who were actually expecting Metallica to save metal. Actually, I was mad at the band more because they reinforced the whole "haircuts = sellouts" thing. Re-Load was just a bunch of songs that weren't good enough for the Load album. After all this time, I still haven't heard St. Anger yet--too many other things out there for me to listen.
Hell yeah, Peace Sells is a killer song, and the video is pretty cool too. Most of the others on the Peace Sells album are great too, like "Wake Up Dead" and "Black Friday". All a reminder that Mustaine being fired from Metallica was all a blessing in disguise.
