...And Justice for All was alright, thanks to the song "One", but beyond that, the Metallica tank was running low. Well, then allow me to totally destroy AJFA in your mind by pointing you in the direction of Dark Angel's "Darkness Descends", an album which was out almost a full two years before AJFA. It's clear that Burton and Mustaine WERE Metallica. This is further enforced by the fact that the remaining members of Metallica had to resort to stealing riffs and beats for the song that they made into their very first video.

Gotta love a hate thread. And just to save me a beating I'm not going to stand up for any artists I like here. Instead I'll just point out my own bit of hate:
John Mayer
I nearly break my finger changing the radio presets every time his voice comes over the speakers.
Oh, and even though I like his music for the most part, Bright Eyes could use a choking as well. If you've ever seen him live, you probably know he's a preachy #%%$!/&^.

My second year listening to Sirius Satellite Radio is up, so I'll be sending them another $130.00 or so, soon.
I guess its a real deal because I have no ill will to anyone in music, probably because I never have to hear them...

Well, try working at a place where there's a CD player and most people listen to commercial poopie. I'd like to add one to my list of artists you want to choke: Paul McCartney, for that Christmas song he did. IRRITATING!

I AGREE WITH YOU 100%Not only do I dislike most Christmas music, but "Wonderful Christmastime" brings it to an entire new level. Where I work, this local radio station is played. Most of the year they play "all your your light rock favorites from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and today!" (Hmm... what favorites would those be?) but after Thanksgiving hits-- WHAM! It's 24/7 Christmas music until the new year. One reason I'm not big on Christmas tunes is because the lack of variety of them. It's always the same traditional songs over and over, redone by different artists. Granted there's a few originals in there, but most seem to be like "Wonderful Christmastime." That song is painstakingly awful! On a lighter note, I really like John Lennon's Christmas song. I just don't know the title.

It's a Christmas EP with two tracks: Frosty The Snowman and Winter Wonderland. It's really beautiful. Yes, you can understand the lyrics.

Any member of Coldplay...just because they're in f$*#ing Coldplay..
Ummm.....a LOT of those AM soft rock artists of the 70's.
Ohh and currently? Manson for becoming such an obnoxious prick about crap. He takes himself to serious as an "Artist" now (much like Prince did for a while) and has severed himself from the ppl who helped him become so huge. (Twiggy...Trent...etc...etc)

I actually like McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime", but I do dislike the song, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". By the way, Lennon's song is called "Happy Christmas (War is Over)". We have a local soft rock station that goes 24/7 Christmas on Thanksgiving as well. At work, the Christmas music started coming on every once in a while a few days BEFORE HALLOWEEN. It started popping up more often after Halloween and at this point I think I've heard enough Christmas music to last me till next year. The fact that it's not even December yet really bothers me. I also agree with the comment concerning a lack of variety. Mostly it's famous artists being lazy and singing old public domain songs you can hear anywhere instead of coming up with something original. So you end up hearing the same dozen songs over and over with different voices singing along. Yippie.

Wait. One name just came to me.
Celine Dion. She even has that long neck.

Yeah, I'd love to rip Celine Dion's heart out of her chest and eat it in front of her before she collapsed and died.
