So a week later and not one person who ordered it the night they went live has gotten a shipment notification? I really, really hope the next film doesn't have the download rights issue.

Did they say they would send a shipping notification? Maybe they'll just ship it...

Is it allow 10 days for processing the order or 10 days to receive the order? There's a big difference and I'm too lazy to go look. Plus, within that 10 day window there are two weekends and two holidays. These things may not start arriving til the fourth! Also, does this fly by night place even have an shipping confirmation email service? Most online companies I've dealt with do, heck, Skyroniter confirms shipping with his orders, but this place seems a bit hokier than Sky.

Relax, I'm sure it's not that untrustworthy of a place. No need to get bent out of shape unless *nobody* receives stuff by a month from now.

"We will notify you by email after your order ships, which is usually within 48 hours unless otherwise specified. "
(from the DVDWagon order status screen)

I assure you I maintain my usual shape. Though let me make clear, I don't consider Sky "hokey". As I was modifying my post my laptop had a brain freeze and I had to resuscitate it. Now people are misreading things and implying things. Guess it was all more bother than it was worth. It was really just idle speculation, that's all. Just a couple questions that came to mind.

Calling it "fly-by-night" made me read the rest of your post in a harsher light. No offense was intended.

Oh, I thought maybe it was the use of the exclamation point. Otherwise, just my opinion. To me it's a weird way to do business, but whatever. I haven't caught the "wave of the entertainment future" yet. [goes to hang head in shame]

Perhaps just closed for christmas, hence the statement of 10 working days. Especially if no one has heard by now, not even the first to order.

I think this is the worst time of the year to do business simply because most businesses have people on vacation and are working with skeleton crews. (Whenever my boss asks me to work a holiday and tells me there will be a skeleton crew I always say "no, cause I'm ascared of skeletons", but I digress...)
Things will speed back up after New Years day. I wouldn't worry about it.
I ain't watching it right away anyhow. I like to savor things until just the right moment. I still have only watched the first Film Crew episode, cause I like to soak it all in for a long time when I get a new mst3k-type thing. I plan on moving on to Killers In Space within the next week. I'm good at spreading out fun so that there's always something good to look forward to.

God dangit! Why did the computer have to break right when I was modifying that statement?? Fits in perfect with the night as it proceeded after that. Utter crap ever since I first misspoke.
