I just thought I made a post about that very thing on the other topic and found it didn't go through, so yes, I'm afraid and embarrassed that it is. That was probably how stupid I looked most of the night! Now I'm kinda surprised they talked to me at all after the show! LOL

That was probably how stupid I looked most of the night! Now I'm kinda surprised they talked to me at all after the show! LOL Maybe you did... ( I'll check in a sec ) but firstly > no !! , Don't say that !It's a delightful shot . It really captures a moment like no other shot yet has , plus you don't look goofy at all ( stop it ! ). Some of the "funnest" moments in any stand-up special are the engaging audience reaction shots , and here we have one featuring not only a babe , but a babe of ours !! I loves it !

Aw! You're sweet to say that. Well , it's true . . ya' nut ! What's also really great about that shot is it's not a cut-away to just you , as it would be for Carlin on HBO or something, but it's you & Joel !! ( plus MJP and others ) It's really a perfect moment. I'm sure you'll get over your first reaction and for years treasure your rare distinction of being one of the best audience moments with Joel.

What blows my mind is that everyone on the mailing list is going to see that. My husband's reacting great in that shot too. He's in midclap. There's another great one of him in Josh's shot. Honestly, I'm a little jealous! LOL.

Having attending the '92 live show, both the '94 and '96 Conventio-Cons , and last week's Launch Party, it's a given I'll be at the live show in October, as well. The drive from Milwaukee to Minneapolis is 5 hours, relaxing and easy. Nothing but cows, horses and state troopers. I've always been appreciative that the show didn't originate in Montana or Tasmania.
Trying to do my part, I've reached out to some folks from the old AOL Mstie community whom I still have contact with, and successfully turned them onto the fact that CT exists. One of my friends in Buffalo is definitely planning to attend...her birthday is October 29th and has already told her husband they're going as her birthday present. Her sister in Florida and the sister's boyfriend are also possible attendees, as well. My "entourage" may total eight people when it's done being assembled. Looking forward to seeing all of you, as well.

As of today, Wednesday, February 27th, there are only 239 days and counting until the CT Live show at the historic State Theater.
Tomorrow, subtract one day from that total.

Woo! 238 days! Do you have your shopping done yet?
I wrote an email to my cousin who lives across the country whom I forgot also loves MST and told her about going to the Minneapolis show. It inspired her to check out their site and watch the preview and I think she's going to order it too. (If someone could send me a referral fee, that'd be fine.) And my two nephews are big fans, so I'm hoping to get a big party together to head up north in October!
