So...since people have been getting their tickets now, has anyone given any more thought about where they're going to stay? Or are we not at that point yet? I'm thinking I like that Motel 6 one because it is so cheap. And if you're driving Captain H, could I possibly hitch a ride with you to and from the theater and whatnot? I'd help pay for gas of course. Yeah, I'd still be up for doing transportation assuming all the plans don't fall through. I have room for one person in front and two people who don't mind riding in a cramped back seat.

T___T Could you just have your parents pay for a room, and let them know you'll be checking in? Maybe if someone who is of age has paid for the room, it's not an issue.

I'm all about sharing my hotel room, anchan, that way you don't have to worry about it.

I'm having a brain freeze. Did they announce what film would be shown at the live show yet? They just announced "Wasp Woman" as the next DVD release, and I'd consider putting off viewing that one until after the live show if they might be using that film.

I don't believe they've announced what film is gonna be shown, though it would be nice if they told us. October is still a ways away, and they'll be able to release at least one more episode between August 7th and the October 25th performance. So at this point, it could either be Wasp Woman or a yet-to-be-released episode.

Somewhere, in recent weeks, I read or heard that it would be a "Halloween-themed" film that would be riffed in Minneapolis. I don't quite recall, it might have been something from the State Theater website/advertising for the event. But don't quote me...I might be wrong. It's happened before.

Well, we're no closer to solving the film mystery after Comic-Con. Joel was asked point blank at the panel what the film at the State Theater would be, and he said he didn't know yet. I guess we'll just have to be surprised!

I read this description of the show on the Hennepin Theater District Event web page for the October Live CT Show. It is, of course, entirely possible this was the result of an overzealous copy writer; it is the only mention of the movie I've seen.

Josh posted this over at the CT board: So apparently watching Wasp Woman now won't be a problem.

Man, would love to go to this but I'm going the UK in early November so all my cash/vacation time is tied up.
You guys have a great time! Sounds like a blast.
