Hey...you guys (and girls) know what? From today, August 17th, there are only 65 days left until the Cinematic Titanic Live Show in Minneapolis. 65 days! That's not a lot of time. Seems like only February when Josh went on stage announcing the show.
My, how time flies. Doesn't it?

Woo hoo! I've got my hotel set up, and my ticket. All I need to do is get a flight and I'm ready to go!
Looks like we're actually gonna have to start figuring out what we're gonna do for the Mini Meet-Up!

Well, now that CT is doing shows in the Chicago area, I'm not going to this one. Not that I don't want to see you all! It's partly economic, of course. For the cost of an airplane ticket and a motel stay in Minneapolis, I could go to all three nights in Chicago. (The other factor is that now my husband and I can go together.) So if anyone is interested in my ticket, send me a PM.

Well kiddies, exactly one month from today some of us will be in Minneapolis, watching Cinematic Titanic Live!! Hooray!!! Obviously, we've lost some people along the way, as CT's seemingly random announcements of shows have made people switch over to the Chicago show, but surely some of you who expressed early interest are still going! Anyway, on the first page I have a list of people that had said they were going when I posed the question waaay back when, so I was wondering if any of those people are still going. Anyway, if people are still going, do you guys up still wanna do a mini meet-up? Cause if so, we should start thinking definitively about what we're gonna do. Y'know, are we just gonna go to dinner before the show, or spend all day Saturday hanging at the Mall, or what? Things to think about.

I will most definitely be there. And can't wait to see those of you who will be attending.

I will be there. I'm driving from Detroit and took a few days off work to get there and back. I'll be arriving in Minneapolis sometime Friday and I'm heading back home Sunday. I'm going to visiting some friends in the Twin Cities, but I'll make sure to be free for a MSTie meet up.

Here's a Minneapolis Live Show related question. I'm curious as to whether or not the upcoming October 9th Cinematic Titanic release Legacy of Blood will possibly be the movie riffed at that live show? Or, will it be another, all new, super secret, surprise movie?
I'm sure those attending the show and ordering the new release will want to know whether or not they should watch the new release prior to October 25th --- if that will be the featured film at the live show.
I guess we'll find out somehow, someway, one way or another, soon enough.

Well it's good to know we'll still have some attendees, even if it is a small gathering! Since mst3ktemple is going to be visiting friends on the trip, and Pierre Trudeau has some of her peeps with her, I don't know how much you guys wanna do on your own with just your friends or what. I'm totally unfamiliar with the area, so it's hard for me to say definitively what we should do, but if anything, we should have dinner together Saturday night. I have no idea where. I'm sure anything downtown will do. I'm getting into town on Friday around 5 PM, so we could even do something that evening too if you want. It's really up to you guys...my schedule is totally free...I just wanna do something fun!

I know I'm not exactly popular around here post-count wise but me and a couple other Rifftrax board members are meeting up at Gameworks for food, gaming, and some bowling before and/or after the show ( www.gameworks.com/locations/minneapolis.php). Anyway, if any of you would like to meet up let me know.

I think that would be really fun James. Robyn, Anchan and I are going in on a hotel room together at the Mariott, and the GameWorks is withing walking distance of us, which is nice since we won't have to worry about wandering long distances in a strange city at night.

Excellent. What time is everyone free to meet up at Gameworks? I'm thinking if we meet up at Gameworks around 5:00 PM on Saturday that should give us more than enough time to get something to eat and play a couple games of bowling. Thoughts?
