Ya know, I'm glad that SHout Factory released new episodes and all, but SHout REALLY has to learn how to make the chapter breaks... they're so sporatic! At least Rhino knew how to make their chapters. That would be my only criticism of the set. Fine job otherwise.

Regarding the Joel interview listed on the Satellite News frontpage: tvblog.ugo.com/index.php/tvblog/more/exclusive_interver_mystery_science_theatre_3000_creator_joel_hodgsonThis quote struck me as odd: " Have you ever gotten any reaction from the filmmakers or actors that you riff on?Some of the actors that I’ve met from these movies seem to like it, you know much they like attention. They seem to thrive on that, so surprisingly they never seem to get mad. I’ve never heard anything negative or otherwise from the people who make the movies." So Joe Don and Joel/Mike have buried the hatchet? Hopefully not in each other's heads?

Picked a copy up today while on a shopping spree at Best Buy, nice tin box, nice Crow statuette, as someone else said my only complaint is the difficulty in getting the dvds out, I'll probably just take them out of the sleeve and put them in the tin commando style

The Trailer for Werewolf almost makes it look entertaining. I wonder if the girl in the original movie got naked? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) she looks naked during the "love scene" that got cut from the MST3K version.

Can't speak for the actual non-MST3K version of the movie, but I noticed you can see one of her nipples extremely quickly during the sex scene in the trailer. Not sure how that slipped by Shout Factory (or maybe they decided to present it as-is, or didn't care).
I guess you could think of that as a DVD "Easter Egg" of sorts...

What's the big deal with a little nudity?
Tom, Crow, Gypsy, and Cambot are nude for most of the series!

Just got mine last night. The ComicCon reunion was kind of a snore, but it was fun seeing them all together at least. The history of MST3K docu-interview-thing was actually very cool, though. Lot of it wasn't news, but I loved that it was all in their own words. I enjoyed it a lot more than I figured I would.
The "inside baseball" talk about the writing process was very interesting. Also loved them talking in such detail about the KTMA days.

Got mine yesterday and finally got to the post office to pick it up this afternoon. Looks nice, but I'll agree it's tricky getting the DVDs out. I actually haven't gotten them out yet, as I decided to wait until I have a little more patience ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Also, concerning the tin: it is supposed to open at both ends, right? I could open the front end of mine, but the back side didn't want to flip open and I was concerned about bending the lid or hinges. Otherwise, I'm just happy to get one with all the talk about them going fast ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

My DVD's finally made it--and they're lovely. Can't wait to celebrate Halloween with Werewolf!
Now...any news on the next set?
