Well, this show is devoted to the worst movies ever, but what are you're favorite movies?
For me:
1. Ghostbusters (1984)
Arguably the most perfect movie ever made. It just has everything!
2. Spider-Man (2002)
Spidey has always been my favorite superhero and this movie didn't disapoint me at all. Wonderfully casted and beautifully directed. Yeah, it had some shakey effects, but that didn't take anything away from the movie IMO.
3. Gojira (1984)
Or as it was released in the States; Godzilla 1985. What can I say? I'm a Godzilla fan! And this was my favorite. Great Godzilla suit and a great story. Wonderful comeback for the big guy!
4. Back to the Future Part II (1989)
My favorite of the trillogy. It was just so different from the other two. III was basicly a rehash of the original only in the west, this one was a breath of freash air IMO.
5. The Fugitive (1993)
My favorite actor (Tommy Lee Jones) in his best performance ever! Breathtaking movie!
6. Dogma (1999)
Ben Affleck is underrated. Don't get me wrong, Armageddon, Reindeer Games, and Pearl Harbor still sucked, I just think he gets a bad rap. This is proved in this also underrated gem. Affleck leads an all star cast in this cult comedy.
7. Back to the Future (1985)
Great movie, great plot, great cast. So many things great about this movie I can't count all of them. Still like the sequel slightly more.
8. The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
I loved the way it just said "Remember what we told you in the original? Screw it! Anything goes!" Many called it a bore, I thought it was a rush from start to finish.
9. The Matrix (1999)
Not just action for action's sake. Great story and some great action. And I'm not one of those Kung Fu movie fans so that should tell you something.
10. Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie (1996)
You thought I was going to say Matrix Revolutions didn't you? Ha! Fooled you! As good as Revolutions was, I wouldn't rank it anywhere near my top ten. MST3K however, managed to generate more laughs in 73 minutes than any movie in the last 2 years!
I know what you're thinking, all these movies were released after I was born (well except Ghostbusters, but that was only by a few months), I admit it. I'm biased against later movies. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy older movies, though. I love Planet of the Apes, Star Wars, and Halloween as much as the next guy, I just enjoy the above movies more because I'm growing up with them.

I'm not sure I could come up with a top 10 list. If I could, I'm sure it would be different tomorrow. Even today, I know I'm forgetting a couple.
10- Royal Tenebaums (2001) I love the Wes Anderson films. This barely edges out Bottle Rocket because of the ensemble cast.
9- Back to the Future (1985) Torgo, you made me think of adding this to the list. One of very few movies I will sit and watch in its entirety any time it's on cable. Instantly I'm 10 years old again.
8- The Third Man (1949) Orson Welles makes the greatest entrance to a film ever. The final scene alone makes this one a classic and secures its place in my top 10. It also has the original sewer chase scene ripped off countless times (by The Fugitive, for example).
6 (tie)- This is Spinal Tap (1984) Tied (with Airplane) for the funniest movie ever made. Tied for the best musical ever made. No musician worth his salt would keep this off his or her top 10.
6 (tie)- The Blues Brothers (1980) Tied with above for best musical ever made. Immediately takes me back to Chicago. And makes me want to dance.
5- The Shawshank Redemption (1994) I saw this the day it opened on a whim, not knowing anything about it. I saw it every day for the next week, bringing someone different every time. I had to tell my friends. The freedom scene still gets me.
4- The Seven Samurai (1954) Kurosawa is the world's greatest director, and this is his greatest movie. Mifune is brilliant as the arrogant hero, yet this is the ultimate ensemble movie. If you haven't seen it, go find it right now. I mean it. Stop reading this stupid post and go find it and watch it. Now.
3- Casablanca (1942) It's not a chick flick. It's a war movie. About a man's courage and choosing the right thing in spite of his emotions. Quite possibly the perfect film. Plus, it's got a ripping hot Ingrid Bergman, quite possibly the prettiest woman ever.
2- Glory (1989) I've seen it over a hundred times, and I still cry at the same scenes. Courage, sacrifice, honor, unity, leadership, revenge, and well...glory. It's got them all. For years, my favorite movie without equal. Until...
1- The Lord of the Rings (2001-2003) It's one movie. Not three. Ever since my dad read the books to me as a child, I've dreamed of seeing them on screen. That it happened so brilliantly is just icing on the cake. The extended DVDs will become regular viewing for the rest of my (and my children's) life.

My top 10 list: (in no particular order, I'd have to think hard to put them in order, and I'm lazy right now ) 1. Braveheart - OMG. Incredible, epic motion picture. It has everything, literally. 2. Apollo 13 - Had my heart racing from start to finish. I didn't know the outcome of the mission before this, so I was almost living through it with them. 3. Ghostbusters - Childhood movie that I just adore. 4. MST3k: The Movie - Ha. Self explanatory 5. The Mighty Ducks Trilogy - Yeah, these are very sucky movies on many levels. But they hold a certain nostalgia and sentimentality in my eyes - they (well, mostly the first one) literally changed my life. Before I saw the first movie, I was kinda a shy, clumsy, awkward kid. I was always picked last for sports and gym and all that stuff. But then, after seeing this movie, a spark was lit inside me - a passion for hockey. Not only am I passionate about it, I'm actually pretty good. I'm usually the top pick now - not the last pick! 6. The Matrix - Groundbreaking movie, in many respects. Just awesome. 7. Jesus of Nazareth - The best on screen depiction of the life of Jesus Christ ever - although I am eagerly awaiting Mel Gibson's "The Passion of Christ". We'll see how that turns out. 8. Star Wars - Classic trilogy. Loved these as a kid and still love them now. 9. Rocky I-V - Quality films. Arguably the only good work Slyvester Stallone has ever done (barring Rambo), but that's besides the point. Unabashedly American, these films make you want to go out and fight for your dream. Eye of the Tiger! 10. Gigli. haha just kidding 10. Glory - Awesome war film. Big history buff when it comes to the Civil War. And with one of the most rousing endings EVER.

I heard Mel added another the to the title. So it's now, "The Passion of The Christ". And I, too, am looking forward to it. The whole anti-Semetism is lost on me. Or don't people realize that Jesus was Jewish?
(Edited to add-- I don't mean to start a heated religious debate. Move along. Nothing to see here)

Oh he added yet more to the title, eh? Ha, yeah let's not open that can of worms We'll let the movie speak for itself, then we can make judgements on it...

Quickly moving past that potential firestorm and back to the topic at hand...
I knew I'd remember another movie worthy of the top 10 as soon as I posted, but I must add 12 Monkeys to my list. Terry Gilliam is a genius, and pretty boys Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt acted the lights out in that one.

I can't possibly make a top ten list. It shifts so frequently, and you people've already covered most of my favorites. I'll just list my top one favorites.
#1: Peter Sellers' "The Great Race"-This movie is hilarious! It's constantly poking fun at the classic silent-movie era comedies (especially Laurel and Hardy). It's got the most Snydely Whiplashish villain I've ever seen in a live-action movie (even counting the Dudley Do-Right movie)! THIS MOVIE MAKES PIE GAGS FUNNY INSTEAD OF OLD AND TIRED! If you've never seen it, and can stand to suffer through one or two unfortunate musical numbers that it could've done without, then this is a movie that everyone should at least watch once.

10. The Chinese Connection/Enter the Dragon These are the two Bruce Lee movies that I've actually seen all the way through, and they're great. So what if John Saxon is in Enter the Dragon? 9. Monty Python's Meaning of Life I watched this one on New Year's Eve and it just seemed too wierd, so I quit after ten minutes. A while later a friend told me to give it another chance and it was great. 8. It's a Wonderful Life This one is simply a classic. A wonderful movie to say the least. Man I hate redundancy. 7. The Ten Commandments I watch it every Easter. It gets better every time. 6. Back to the Future III The best in the series, in my opinion...yeah, that's about it... 5. Big Jake Actually, most of John Wayne's westerns are great. Just pretend I put all of them here. 4. Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie It was just great. Could've been longer, though... 3. Star Wars (All) Even though they're this high on the list, I have better things to do than sit in line for four months to see a movie. 2. Ben-Hur See number 8. Take that explination and multiply it by ten. 1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail This is definitely the funniest movie ever. From the argument about swallows to the murder of "a famous historian," I was laughing all the way.

3. Star Wars (All) Even though they're this high on the list, I have better things to do than sit in line for four months to see a movie. Yeah, I agree, that's pretty rediculious. If they're so anxious, couldn't they use Fandango?

I watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail at least two times a week. I've memorized every line of that movie. I love reciting the lines with my friends: "I'm French! Who do you think I have this outrageous accent!??" Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberries! I really need the dvd...

My Favorites (not a commentary on the 10 Greatest and not in order)

9. Scarface - no one liked it when it came out, and now its a classic
8. A Clockwork Orange - Stanley Kubrick was god
7. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Hey, I like Westerns!

4. Pulp Fiction
3. Raging Bull
2. Duck Soup - damn, the Marx Brothers were funny
1. Plan 9 from Outer Space - and I'm NOT Joking! Funnier that Monty Python and the Marx Brothers put together.
