I enjoy Good King Wenceslas. Not technically a Christmas song, since it happens on the Feast of St. Stephen, but y'know... it's close enough.

A little on the heavier side that's not TSO...
Gary Hoey - 12 Days of Christmas (instrumental)
Whiteheart - Little Drummer Boy
X-mas Project - Jingle Bells (metal cover)

If anyone says they like that "Christmas Shoes" song, I'm going to find out where you live and beat you to death with a shoe.
Merry Christmas!

I've gone on record many times here to say that I can't stand Christmas music (especially the overplayed stuff like "Carol of the Bells", "Jingle Bell Rock", "Sleigh Ride", and "Winter Wonderland").
But TurkeyVolGuessnMan, I applaud your inclusion of Whiteheart's "Little Drummer Boy". I have enjoyed that song for many a year, and I'm shocked (SHOCKED) that someone would have posted it here.
Also, the aforementioned "Christmas in Hollis" and Fishbone's "It's A Wonderful Life" are required in my house for wassailing my tennenbaum.

It doesn't feel like Christmas 'til I hear it.

I've always loved "O Come All Ye Faithful." When I was in the seventh grade we had to learn how to sing it in Latin. You'd think that would make me hate the song, but it did just the opposite. Hearing it brings back some really happy memories.
I am also partial to Twisted Sister's version of the song. ;D

Not a huge fan of Christmas songs, but a good version of "O Holy Night" rarely fails to be stirring.

If anyone says they like that "Christmas Shoes" song, I'm going to find out where you live and beat you to death with a shoe. Merry Christmas! a-freakin-MEN to that. i despise that song. when i worked in retail back in my 20s, i hated christmas music because i was forced to listen to it - and the same songs every single day, never anything different. it was awful. now that i don't have to listen to it very much, i love christmas music. i listen to a lot of it. i love the standards, but i also love bob and doug's 12 days of christmas, eh? cheech and chong's santa claus and his old lady goes on a little too long, but some of it still cracks me up. and i love brian setzer's christmas music. but don't ever play the chipmunks christmas song or grandma got run over by a reindeer unless you want me to be in a REALLY pissy mood.
