I concur. And toss in Carrot Top.

I'm not surprised how much consensus there is in this thread. Most of the comedians are completely antithetical to an average MSTie's mindset. I pretty much agree with everyone mentioned.
And MJ, you're thinking too much of Kinison's later-and I quite agree, obnoxious and crappy-work. If you check out his older work there's great jokes, some of the best.
I will defend Jeff Dunham in one way-I've worked his shows, and while I'm not amused by his standup, he's a really nice guy.
But I am shocked that no one has mentioned Sinbad. My god, he makes me scream. I cannot get it. I paid another crew member to run the spot for the two shows he did on my ship. I didn't want to even have to listen to it. Ugh!

Sia I have no idea when I first saw Sam - It was on some HBO or Showtime special with a bunch of other acts, then he got his own stand up deal. I'm not sure when that was during his career. All I know is that every time I saw him I didn't laugh and had an earache thereafter.

Everyone's mentioned the worst. I just want to reemphasize that Larry the cable guy.

But I am shocked that no one has mentioned Sinbad. My god, he makes me scream. No kidding. He seems to get overlooked in any list of bad comedians.

I think it's because no one even wants to remember him.

Be careful whose names you're throwing around in this thread. Mike Nelson might want to do a Rifftrax with one of them.

If he wants to do a Rifftrax with Carrot Top, I'm pretty sure that's a good indication that our Mister Nelson has had a stroke of some sort.

Well, you guys have mentioned anyone and everyone who I would've said.
Dane Cook especially irks me. What irks me even more is how hilarious so many people seem to think he is. I watched Vicious Circle to humor (Heh, get it?) my sister, and throughout the hour and a half special I only laughed out loud once. And I don't even remember what the bit was that I laughed at. I have one acquaintance who quotes Mr. Cook on almost a daily basis, and that's even more painful.

I have never really liked Eddie Izzard (I know, blasphemy around here). I honestly don't see what his appeal is. I watched his special and I laughed a few times, but it really wasn't all that funny to me. I fell asleep during it.
Then again, I like the Blue Collar guys (except for Larry the Cable Guy), especially Ron White. His delivery and timing are amazing.

Larry the Cable Guy, Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia are the triumvirate of garbage in Stand up.
All the Blue Collar guys suck, Ron White included.
I also agree about Lampanelli. I think she's totally overrated.

Carlos Mencia: if he needs to explain each time that he is being insulting to prove a point, you fail as a comedian and a human being.
Dane Cook: He had that old comedy central special that wasn't really funny except for a few bits (the guys dancing was funny)
Blue Collar Comedy Tour guys: All just not funny at all
