I had no desire to see this flick... but now I'll be watching it thanks to Rifftrax.

Awesome. Terminator 3 is one I can watch over and over and never get tired of, and this one might be even better because it has all 3 guys riffing. I could live a full, happy life never seeing Christian Bale again, but I'm sure they'll make him pay.

Now that I read my previous comment it sounds negative to me. That wasn't the intent.
What I'm trying to say is that I'm cheerfully going wherever Rifftrax takes me. OK, sometimes kicking and screaming. Either way... I'm going.

I've heard many a negative thing about this movie, so I shied away from seeing it (after being initially interested upon learning of its being made).
So, yeah, what MJ said.

I watched this about two weeks a go and yea the movie is crap. I personally hated T3(the movie not the rifftrax to it) but that one is ten times better then this and I like Bale in quite a few movie but not this one. Can't wait for the guys to rip in to this.

I caught your meaning Sky --It is amazing how many movies I've seen that I normally would never have bothered with (Battlefield Earth, Crossroads and Twilight to name 3) and I enjoyed greatly only because of the riffing.
With this one, I'm simply bored with the franchise.

Reliving Titanic was something I was particularly dreading. I decided not to bother seeing Terminator Salvation in the pictures or on DVD because I just knew they'd do it and I'd rather have them for company during it.

I'm thinking I will have to make this my first Rifftrax purchase. For all of my love of MST3K, money and scheduling have been such for me for years that Rifftrax and CT have just had to go on that list of "Maybe someday" stuff.
Myself, I'm a huge Terminator fan. I love the original concept in the first films and loved the TV series, which was infinitetely deeper and more well-produced than the later two films.
This film isn't nearly as bad as the third one (hell, most of what MST3K did wasn't as bad as the third film--yeah, I went there) but it still was more just a generic action flick with some impressive visuals than an actual Terminator film. Being able to see this put in its place by some of my favorite comedic talents would be worth the effort, I think.
Of course, that means I have to go about figuring out how to make it all work. Yeah, I'm that out of touch. You have to download the tracks and then sinc them up with the running film, right? Meh.

Though the trax is fine I bailed yesterday at the one hour point. Just as Decaprio entered the first class dining room. I didn't have the stomach for it. Will try to pick it back up today.

Will try to pick it back up today. i can't honestly say i hate titanic - jack and rose can be totally irritating and it does make sense that they were the cause of the tragedy, but i'm a big titanic fan anyway (of the whole legend of it), and i thought cameron did a pretty good job at re-creating the ship itself and the atmosphere of the panicked attempts to get the people into the lifeboats at the end. and maybe i don't get out much, but i still find the special effects pretty decent. just getting to watch it with mike, kevin and bill just makes it better for me.

I know it's like ape law (or guy law) that I'm supposed to hate Titanic.... But I'm with you on this. I didn't mind the movie. It's a James Cameron flick, it has the usual Cameronesque things like big FX and -clunky dialog- and the like, that your either ignore or buy into or not. Me I find his work, including Titanic, entertaining. It was long, that made getting through the trax a 2 night endeavor.

I plan to watch part 2 of Titanic next weekend. I know I'll like it better. More sinking and less talking!
Sorry I hijacked the Terminator thread. ;D
