This morning I dreamt I saw Louis Armstrong in a bar, and he was happy to see me even though I'd given him the wrong size shoes.

oh, that's awesome. that's the kind of dream i love - just pure wackiness.
i had a very weird dream about these people i evidently lived with that just hated me. it was two girls and two guys, and the girls were very possessive of these guys and if i even looked at them, they would get pissed. so i tried to keep to myself and not bother anyone, but it didn't help. i walked into a room where i am pretty sure it was calli who was working on something - he had all these tools out and there was a bunch of small nails on the floor. as i was standing there talking to him, i looked down and saw that i had stepped on the nails and several of the nails were sticking out of my bare foot! they didn't hurt, really - there was no blood or anything, but i can remember the sensation of pulling them out.

Friendly, I think I'm going to sub-contract out my dreaming to you. Is there much of a waiting list? It's a long one. I'll see what I can do about bumping you up. From the wacky and the weird, we now head towards the infantile: Shapes in different colors. That's what all my dreams were last night. Blue circles, red triangles, orange squares, green clovers...I think my brain was running a test pattern all night.

I guess I am back in a dream phase, but except that first night they're pretty much senseless and pointless as far as I can tell. The last two nights have had me trying to find my way through enormous buildings of some kind. They're not spooky or anything, and as far as I remember pretty much nothing happened to me in either one.
The only thing at all interesting was a woman with impossibly long legs and a skirt so short it went up, somehow, walking toward and past me. When I looked back to watch her go on she had become all legs.

Had one bird-related dream I don't remember, one dream where I was either chasing or being chased by a muscle car, but the middle one was maybe my nerdiest dream ever. I was in a hotel restaurant having breakfast with... all of you. Just about everyone from the board my subconscious could muster up was there, not just those who post in here. You'd think that was the nerdy part, right? Wrong. I was too nervous to eat because I was going birdwatching (sounds reasonable), and everyone kept coming by wishing me luck and strapping donated equipment on me; I ended up looking like Rambo-Servo. We all knew I was after the Northern Cardinal, and that it might be my last chance to see one. The rest of the dream was just birdwatching. Really nerdy birdwatching. When I saw my first Cardinal, and it was right next to my first Pyrhhuloxia, I'd do a Tiger Woodsian fist pump and shout, "YEAH!" I saw impossible things like African Honey-creepers, and even some weird teal-colored bird with a big orange beak. Each one I saw elicited this response:

Oh man, I love those dreams where you wake up going "What in the sam heck did I just dream about?!?"
One time, about two or so years ago, I literally had a dream where me and my friend were eating ice cream on an empty basketball court.....seriously.....that's all we did.....not one word of dialogue...

had a bunch of nonsensical dreams last night, but the one i remember most is bugging my grandmother to take me to the store. it seemed i was staying with her because i was sick or something (i once stayed with her for a week after i had my appendix taken out - it felt like i was there for that), so she and her sister took me through this huge city to the store where i got some rubber bands, a hairbrush and a kit kat bar. i made my poor little grandmother take me out in this crazy traffic for that. i is a jerk!

Is u a jerk? Of course not. Maybe a little selfish... My dream this morning was about my first job. It was at a record store. In my dream, I was trying to ring up the costumers but I couldn't remember how to use the cash register, so I ended up with a long line. Then someone came up to the counter with a $3,000 purchase and I started to panic. Someone came over to me and tried to teach me how to count. The setting changed to a road right next to the ocean on a very muddy shore. The road was being leveled and the person who was showing me how to count used the roller as a tool for counting. Then flowers in pots started super-imposing themselves over my image while numbers ran off in my head.

no one should have to do math in their dreams.
this morning i had a very weird dream that involved rifftrax. it started out with me watching a rifftrax short about a family that was going to the store together. you saw some people getting into a car. then they were gone and nothing else happened. mike made some kind of comment like - where did they go? are we supposed to guess what happens next? next thing you know, i'm in the short, along with mike, kevin and bill. and we start walking, like, i guess we are going to try to follow the family to the store. mike and kevin disappeared almost immediately, and then i saw bill jogging up a hill. wanting to keep up, i began to follow him, but i didn't get very far with trying to jog up a hill that turned into an incredibly steep mountain. but you should have seen bill! he was sprinting up.
i kept going by myself, very slowly pulling myself up this nearly vertical mountain. on the way i found a run down hotel - a real dump - where my sister and her family were staying. she started telling me this story about how she found out her husband almost cheated on her, while he was sitting right next to her. i told her i didn't want to hear about it and she got pissed and went to bed. my bro-in-law and nephews didn't seem very interested in me hanging around, so i left, continuing my climb up the mountain.
but i did make it to the top! i distinctly remember holding on to a rock to keep from sliding to my death and looking down at a town at night. and i did catch up with mike, kevin and bill, but i don't remember what happened after that.

You had a Rifftrax dream without Tommy Wiseau? Maybe you're blocking that part out. Pretty cool dream, though. I bet Bill would laugh the hardest.

Great dream Solgroupie.
I had three dreams last night, but one of them has slipped away. Strangely, it was the last one I had.
The first came at 5:20. I was riding a bike on the road, down a slope near the house I grew up in. I reached the bottom but cars were crossing my path. I turned my bike to go up the road, but a car was coming down the road with it's head-lights on. I turned, nearly being hit by a car going up, and ended up in the garage of a relatives house, who did live down the road from me. The bike disappeared while I jumped a fence to get near the house. A woman appeared, who I recognized as Lindsey Shaw. A police car started up the road and she grabbed my hand and we ran to the back of the house. We looked down to a lower street and saw another police car stopping and an officer getting out. He started to walk towards the house and we ran inside, where my best friend and Devon Werkheiser appeared. When inside, the two police officers showed up and Lindsey talked to them and they left. We played some TV trivia games and then the three of them left out of the back-door. I turned around and saw the home owners coming in. I followed them out of the back-door and was told to reset the lock numbers on it so they wouldn't know we were there. I grabbed a tool, which looked like a typical store pricing gun, and started to change the numbers back. Then a co-worker from my days at Macy's, a house-keeper, showed up to create a diversion for the home-owners. And that's where the dream ended. I guess I watched too many episodes of Ned's Declassified with my niece.
My second dream was simpler. I was at a gathering where I met a woman. We seemed to enjoy each others company, but then she told me she had to be at the airport for a 4:30am flight and wanted to see me before her flight. I went home and fell asleep. When she did drop by in her car, my sister woke me up to tell me, but she had already left. I then asked my sister to wake me immediately the next time she came by. When she did come by the second time, my sister did wake me, but with the same results. She had left. I ended up running outside to see if I could catch up with her car, but to no avail. I then woke up. This is a typical woman dream for me.

I had a fairly involved one last night, though most of the details are already fuzzy. I was master-minding some kind of heist, reminiscent of the one in The Killing. I was meeting my confederates in the restroom of the bank, and things weren't going according to plan. Through pre-arranged signals we agreed to go ahead, and I figured that if I could just pee I'd be in much better shape to continue. I went to the urinal and was just beginning to feel better when the rational side of my brain reminded me that I wasn't actually standing at a urinal, I was actually lying in bed. I managed to wake up just in time.
