I just didn't watch The Spy Who Loved Me. For a couple of weeks I'd been not not watching all the Bond movies in order. It's a nice run through the zeitgeist of the various eras, and this time I managed to break into the Roger Moore era. While it was nifty to discover cröefan's third nipple, I came away feeling the need to not watch a lot more of this series.
I've been not watching all of the Republican debates. I feel that this leaves me far better informed about the political realities in the good, old U. S. of A. and wish that there were Democratic equivalents I could as assiduously not watch. The more I don't watch these, the more convinced I become that Rick Perry would make one hell of a chief executive.
I've actually been not watching a lot of US TV since giving up even limited basic cable. There are so many things I've taken delight in not watching lately that's it's hard to know how to begin cataloguing them. I do sometimes think that I don't not watch Newshour enough, but I sometimes manage the radio simulcast. Oh, as a Penn State grad, I've also been not watching as much of the Joepa saga as I can. It helps to avoid the urge to Schadenfreude, as well as the temptation to make tasteless jokes.
I've been thinking I should not watch more YouTubes of weirdass Japanese game shows. Lately, though, J-porn clips are beginning to appear in YouTube's recommendations for me, and perhaps it's a higher priority to not watch those.

I haven't been watching anything that airs from 7-10, CST, on any channel except for the random kids show. I feel that my emotional well being has improved greatly. My wife decided she wanted to start watching Pan Am, and I saw half an episode before I cracked open a really really old and really really dry and "intellectual" book as an antidote to the stupid.
Personally, I find that even most "bad" kids shows (like Pokemon or the latest pseudo-satirical made-for-kids South Park knock-off) has more creativity than most "good" adult shows. Even the artwork and stylized combat in Pokemon is at least interesting in a surreal, nonsensical way. I'm not saying it's great, but, compared to what I saw of Pan Am, I feel better about my son's brain than my wife's.

I heard a description of that show on NPR this morning. Sounds like something I'll really enjoy not watching. While the concept of genre mixing they described sounds interesting if well-handled, it also sounds tricky. Reminds me of the pancakes with Roquefort dressing I saw on Japanese TV: some things are original because no one's been foolish enough to try them before.

There's one woman who plays a French stewardess. She is in another league in terms of what she can project over and beyond her character from EVERYONE else on the cast. It's like watching two different shows even in the same scene. Just very unbalanced to me.

I am thrilled on a daily basis to not be watching Glee. The same goes for Dancing with the Stars and the CBS comedy lineup. I also have to say I'm prepared to not watch the new Twilight movie.
But more than anything else, I'm looking forward to not watching my 3-year-old vomit into a tupperware container anymore. Three days of it is enough.

I'm not going to see "J. Edgar", as I am not happy that I cannot punch DiCaprio in the face.
I am also not watching anything but Top Gear lately, so my opinion is suspect at best.

Haven't been watching any Coen Brothers movies. I must say that's keeping me in a good mood.

I haven't been enjoying my vast collection of Ed Wood secret porn.
Little did you know, before he moved away from Poughkeepsie, he made a slew of pornographic movies. The one with him in that leather horse costume is alone worth not watching it.

Cool, let's not get together and not watch those one of these days.
I'm trying to decide if I want to not catch the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy remake. The BBC mini-series was just so damned well done, especially in terms of casting. Le Carré said that Alec Guiness' portrayal of George Smiley was so strong that it overrode his own image of the character, and it was some years before he could write him again. I'm not sure what a remake can really do better, especially given the shorter run time. About the only nits I pick in the original are how it would have been nice to do the Hong Kong sequences there instead of Spain and Tony Esterházy's English is too good (the joke in the books is that no one's sure where he's actually from, as he speaks eight languages but all with strong and inconsistent accents).
But then I heard that John Hurt plays Control. Hmm, maybe I'll break down and not not catch it after all.
Gonna stick with the decision to not watch the Qaddafi video at every opportunity, though. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, but thanks anyway.
