From a TV Guide article I found HERE (scroll to the very bottom), there were 5 main shows. Mystery Science Theater 3000 [it has Joel Hodgson pictured], of course, but it also has a couple of other pictured. Rachel Sweet, Allan Harvey, Tommy Sledge and Steve Higgins, Dave Higgins, & Dave Allen. I was wondering what were those show, the show's genre and what were they about? Also if anyone know what the entire article is about Comedy Central, I'd like to read it.

From what I heard about Rachel Sweet's show it was called the Sweet Life and it was a sketch/talk show. The Daily Show's Jon Stewart used to be a writer for that show and even appeared in some of the sketches.

Also while checking IMDB Alan Havey's show on the Comedy Channel was called Night After Night. From what I gathered it used to be a 2 hour show where Alan would show comedy clips but then it became a talk show. Joel even made a guest appearance on there.

When you say "comedy clips" do you mean something like things from a comedy club or what?

From what I read on mst3ktemple the Comedy Channel would normally have comedy jocks(Similar to MTV VJs)that consisted of people from their shows(Don't know if anyone from Best Brains did these but they probably didn't). The clips they would show were pulled from stuff like cartoons, videos, and movies.
