So, I'm curious. As lovers of bad cinema, are there many folks here that are familiar with Godfrey Ho and other Hong Kong cut-and-paste ninja masters? I have an unhealthy love of these films, and need to know if I'm the only one. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, see if www.youtube.com/watch?v=scs0vs1smfc is familiar. I'd love to discuss these more, but there's no point in me going on and on if no one cares, right?

Yeah I know of him and the other guys from IFD(Assuming they're not all pseudonyms) . They're good for some comedy gold, but some of those movies are painful. Also

Any time you see a Joseph Lai production, you're in for some cut and paste action. Although the Joseph Lai ones that Godfrey Ho didn't direct are the truly awful ones. I've just watched one that inserted ninjas into a family drama about abandoned children and jailed husbands of mistreated wives...really odd. Sort of a Lifetime Original Ninja Movie

I saw Untouchable Glory again(Don't ask). It's actually a very bad movie. I know the internet loves to treat Pierre Kirby like a folk hero, but his involvement in the cut and paste scenes don't make this movie any better.
Also I love how in those movies, there's always that guy doing the dub work that sounds like Teddy Ruxpin. Even better is when you hear that guy trying to do villains.

Oh god yes, the dubbing makes me actually laugh out loud sometimes. One of the regular dubbers, Stuart Smith, has this hilarious goober voice with a strong australian accent. He can't disguise it at all, so when he's trying to play different villains it's hilarious. Kind of endearing though.
It's best when there are a LOT of minor characters, so you get to listen to some poor dubber try to come up with 12 different voices. I heard one that was straight-out bullwinkle.

I think I know who you're talking about. Jump to 2:40 in this clip to hear Mr. Aussie.
I know in the same movie I heard someone that was a dead ringer for Eddie Deezen. I got to hear that Bullwinkle one. ("Hey Rock let's go overthrow that evil ninja empire!")
