True... and speaking of that, Torgo, do you know what we have to do now before we get more episodes of MST3K? So, I wouldn't get too excited--if you look at the KS rewards the ones that involve going to the premeires have an expected delivery data of November. I was actually going to start a thread about, And Now the Bad News, cuz it's pretty much gonna be a year from now before we all see a new ep. But silver lining, I bet KS backers will be getting lots of updates and inside info over the next year.

I didn't even think we'd make it to twelve episodes and now we've got 14!

I was also surprised to wake up and see that they got the money for 14. never thought they would get there. couldn't be happier. first(and probably only) kickstarter campaign I'll ever back.
what I really want to know is what are the odds the shows are going to be broadcast on tv, because I hate watching MST on the computer. I'm sure, eventually, the entire season will be out on bluray, but still, I want to see the new episodes on my TV.

There's plenty of TV streaming devices you can easily get nowadays though, like Roku and Chromecast.

I only caught a short bit of the telethon, but tech issues aside, what a party. Actually, the tech issues may have made the party. What a wild, weird trip this last month has been. I'm stunned and pretty much ready to sit for a second in disbelieving silence. That describes my state pretty well, too. I'm still a little giddy after everything that happened yesterday! I can only imagine how Joel must be feeling right about now. I've been thinking some more about the telethon, and I've concluded that it was perfect just as it was. It was weird in all the right spots, and even the technical issues somehow gave it an intimate quality that was very much in keeping with the spirit of the original show. During Joel's years in particular, sometimes somebody would flub a line, or something went wrong during an elaborate skit, or Servo's head would fall off, or somebody would sneeze in the theater, and they just soldiered on and we loved them for it. The telethon felt a lot like that. If nothing else, it also gave the on-air personalities a chance to show off their improvisational talents! Joel, Paul & Storm, and especially Patton Oswalt did an admirable job under pressure of keeping the show going!

I have a Roku and use it all the time - Shout TV with about 50 MST3K eps so far is on Roku and its free - you watch ads. You do have to pay for the Roku device.
I also routinely connect my laptop to my TV with an HDMI cable. If both your computer and TV have that hookup, that works really well.
I've been a Mystie since around 1992 and last night was really exciting and fulfilling. Congrats Joel and all!

Fix the broken mics? A Youtube channel where Patton reads Twitter messages? An actual Thanos vs. Doomsday bake-off? Or how about...NOTHIN' AT ALL! Woo! We've got a winner there.
