I was reading the "Joey" info. The former Ginger Spice had a bad audition and now they're looking at Madonna! If she's in the show I wont even take a peek at it.

I don't know if you made that up or if it's real. It could be either. Check VanHagar3000's link. It's on the list (under NBC).

The future of TV equals reality TV. When people are bored with it, more insane reality TV will take it's place.

I guess it could get more insane but it's hard to imagine how. Think more gross. Think Vivian Schilling as host of "Who Wants to Eat Raw Roach Thoraxes?"

TV is for wasting time. Always has been, always will be. Occasionally, we get some good shows (MST3K, various shows on TLC and Discovery Channel, etc.) but for the most part it's just time-wasting crap. And phantom is right, the networks will give us crap if we watch the crap. It's easier to make a lousy show anyways. It doesn't require much thought, and also doesn't take much time or resouces to do it.

I predict bad TV will accelerate the demise of the human race and snails will inherit the earth. PROVE ME WRONG PEOPLE!

I DON'T watch TV with all the effort I can muster, but still crap continues to be made. Other than MST, Queer As Folk (I love gay boys, I can't help it) and The Daily Show, I watch NOTHING. Even The Discovery Channel has kinda gone downhill lately -- they used to have lots of stuff about evolution and ancient civilizations, but now it seems like every time I turn it on there's something with motorcycles and big beefy bald dudes on. Not that there's anything necessarily wrong with motorcycles and/or big beefy bald dudes.

I’ve been living in Japan for the past 3 and a half years. When my wife and I got married last May, we moved off base and gave up any sort of “western” style television. We got cable through a Japanese company that carried about 15 popular American channels, and as I recall we had it for less than a month before I cancelled it.
Hell, I haven’t watched TV for over 6 months now, and I can’t say that I miss it. (Except for South Park.) The internet is a lot more entertaining than television to me now. Instead of channel surfing for 2 hours with nothing but crap on I can do a quick search and find something that actually interests me. With the internet, DVD’s and video games, people have more options for entertainment than they ever have before.
It’s no wonder that network television is loosing its audience; it sucks. And for the most part it always has.
