*Spoilers*
So... did Jonah decide not to come back for a possible season 12? Are we going to get a new host every season? Will the crew wake up at the start of season 12 to find Jonah in the shower? What the hell was up with that ending?

If he's not coming back, they have the guy they briefly showed in 1112, Matt McGinnis (as Matt Claude Van Damme).
I don't know why he wouldn't. Its kind of his dream job...

I'm sure it was intended as a "if we don't get renewed" thing that can be easily written around.

Jonah didn't die. In 1102 he mentioned making a space suit for a space walk, it's red. In the 1114 credits we see Jonah in the red space suit taking a space walk. So my assumption is he escaped the giant robot monster's stomach, was wearing his space suit under his yellow jumpsuit, and went for a space walk.

REALLY fun episode! I enjoyed the movie, which upon closer inspection was from the same crew that made Land That Time Forgot so I'm not surprised. Luckily the riffing was richer in belly laughs that Time Forgot, and it ended our new season with a huge grin on my face.
I'm assuming those were the Kickstarter set visit backers playing the Observers during the wedding. I imagine they were pleased as pie to find out they were playing a beloved show staple like that!
Ending was hilarious. It reminded me of how Reno 911 usually ended a season with everyone apparently dying a horrible death and then just writing around it in the next season premiere somehow.
Finally, Growler. Whoever voices him sounds A LOT like Rowlf. If he was credited, I missed it. Really curious about who played him.

Damn it, why has this season been teasing my desire to see an MST3K/Muppet crossover?
Oh boy, a lot of thoughts on this episode. While this episode was mostly solid I felt the riffing qaulity kinda sagged a bit in the middle, finding this episode much funnier at the start and end. Don't get me wrong this episode was good but it's kinda a shame we didn't end on one of the strongest. The host segments I feel this time are the most notable part, it was nice seeing Paul Chaplin reprise his role as the head Overseer, it was good seeing the Overseers back in general (also a clever way to include many of the backers). Also it was nice having Pearl, Bobo and Brain Guy back too for the wedding scene, and oh boy that wedding scene.....what a strange way to end the season, certainly interested to see how these events are addressed next season!

I've been pumped to see them riff AT THE EARTH'S CORE since the season film list was first leaked. It's one of my all-time favorite cheesey monster flicks and they did it justice. Great riffing all around and great host segments, easily one of my favorite episodes of the season!
And what a CRAZY finale!!! I assume that's Jonah doing the space walk at the very end.. why else would they keep showing him working on his space suit throughout the season!?
[Minor nitpick: So the Observers no longer need to carry their brains around in bowls?]

In my opinion, this finale is far better than 1013. I'm not too worried about the whole Jonah getting eaten thing (I should really just relax), but there absolutely needs to be a Season 12. Please, renew the series, Netflix! Shut up and take my money!!

[Minor nitpick: So the Observers no longer need to carry their brains around in bowls?] They've evolved beyond the need for using bowls! Yeah that was a little odd, but eh it's not a big deal. I do think it's nice too see the Joel has been so inclusive of things that happened doing the Mike era. Often creators tend to be pretty bitter about the things that happen in their show during the time they left, but Joel still seems to have an affection for it. I must confess I did enjoy seeing the Overseers again!

Well, that ending definitely had me at surprise. I'm sure Jonah will probably come back in some cheesey Mst3k form (which I'll post on the fate of Jonah), otherwise if he chooses not to, I'm sure we'll get another new host (hopefully just as good).
Anyone, the riffing had me DYING! I loved the Ringo Starr/George Carlin as Mr. Conductor joke, all the Kermit jokes, and poking fun at the wigs. This one was honestly a lot bette than the last two.
The robot definitely sounded a lot like Rowlf the Dog (and I'm sure that's what they were intending to do). The host segments weren't too bad (I liked Crow dressed as the monster).
Overall, decent finale and a really nice fresh start of the new series. Here's hoping season 12 (or season 2 if you count it separate from the original) will be just as good!

I thought this was a pretty decent episode. It's not one of my favorites from the new season, but it definitely has its moments. The movie itself is also fairly watchable in a fun B-movie way.
I love when the slavers are taking the captured humans to the Mahars in chains and Jonah exclaims, "I think those are the guys from Yes. And there's Kansas and Genesis (early Genesis)... Why they've enslaved all of prog rock!" I always laugh at the prog rock references in the original series and I'm glad the new series has continued that tradition. Another great line comes from Crow in the same scene when he says, “What is this, the Sid and Marty Croft death march?" For some reason that line had me in stitches.
Don’t ever mention Emerson, Lake, & Palmer in front of Gypsy! – Joel

I got a big laugh when Pearl came to the wedding only because they thought they were at the "If someone objects" part of it.
