interesting to see my journey with this episode. As you can see I loved it on my first watch.. it fell down quite a bit on the second watch and just fell into the 'good' category.
Based on so many of you talking it up I rewatched it again tonight for the first time in years. I remembered what I don't like about it. This one is a good example of the rapid fire riffing being an issue. They just non stop riffing anytime the scenes without dialogue are on. The riff pacing seemed to improve a lot in the second half of Season 11 and once I watched those it highlighted that it was still an issue here even if it was better than Reptilicus. the writing on this episode is fn excellent. so many amazing riffs and the movie is perfect for the show but when the movie stops talking it becomes too much of a good thing with the riffing.
I wish they had done a few more episodes before doing this one it could have been a masterpiece.. but as is it's just a good one. I still had a great time but it doesn't match my favs of the reboot.

I keep returning to this one. To this day I am trying to figure out if they cut any more material with the traumatized figure skater. So many goofy subplots.
