With the upcoming release of Reefer Madness, this seemed like a timely thread.
Some cult favorites are overlooked good movies and others are campy bad movies you like anyway.
For example, Road House falls in the latter category.
The two that get the most love from me would be UHF and Waiting for Guffman.

Jeepers, there’s just so many. Probably the most mainstream ones are the 3 Evil Dead movies. Not really what most would consider fine cinema, but their damn entertaining and very well directed; enough so to appeal to a broader audience than most cult films. Some of my guilty pleasures include The Werewolf vs. The Vampire Woman, Zombie, and Kung fu from beyond the grave. I highly recommend the last film on that list to each and every one on this board. You haven’t experienced really great cinema until you’ve seen a poorly dubbed Chinese sorcerer summon Count Dracula from out of thin air by burning a couple hundred dollars.
Sorcerer – (While fending off jumping Chinese zombies) “Count Dracula, come to my aid!”
Count Dracula – “I’m coming!!!!!!!!!!”
A thin European man (looking very out of place in a kung fu movie) is flown in on an all too visible wire, sporting some of the worst Dracula make-up you have ever seen. He is eventually dispatched with exploding garlic bombs.
You have to see it to believe it. A big budget Hollywood movie rarely dares to be as much fun as a cult movie.

Freaks - 1932. This was a really trippy film about sideshow freaks. I'm sure all of you are familiar with it.
Killdozer - 1974. Need I say more?
Hideous Sun Demon - 1959. Add one part radiation to one part Atomic scientist and you get a murdering madman/lizard thing. Excellent.
Hand of Death - 1962. It's kinda hard to find but worth it if you do. PLUS!!! It has John Agar in it.
the animated version of The Lord of the Rings - 1978. This animated flick BLOWS AWAY that piece of crap that Peter Jackson blew out of his a s s.
Short Circuit - 1986. ........Nah, just kidding. I've promised myself that I'll slam a hatchet into someones face if they show me this abortion. Uuugghhh. Just thinking about that damned Robot Johnny 5 gives me the hives.

What about From Justin to Kelly? I did not say I liked every cult movie, just that most of the movies I enjoy are cult movies. No idea why. And I never saw that.

Let's see, ummm, cult movies, well, I can think of The Doom Generation films, Eraserhead, and Altered States to start with. Also, I think you can consider Easy Rider to be a cult film.
