that still makes me uneasy is Giant Spider Invasion. It's not that it scares me (shuh right!), it's all the negative Wisconsin riffs that are made in the episode. I wonder if Mike, Jim, Kevin hated the time they lived in Wisc. because they tear Wisconsin a new one. I'm not to object people hating wisc., their is enough to not like but I think he went overboard on some of the jokes like: "please let this ride sling-shot me to minnesota into real civilization". Let me put it this way, If MST3K ripped on Minnesota if they had the chance would you be uneasy, or even mad? What do you think?

I don't worry about that stuff, because they did the same thing for Texas, England, etc. They make a joke of everything.

Well I'd have to think it's because your from Wisconsin. They ripped the South a new one in Squirm and several others. It's what they do.

Add Canada and Japan to that list as well. Oh and if your a man from 'Malta' you'd better have a very VERY thick skin before watching "Final Justice"
Also I live in the South and laugh my butt off when they go after us. It's just a joke.

"Packers won the SuperBowl,Packers!"
Sorry, but I laughed when they showed the crowd and Mike and the bots would say "Packers, yeah!" And I'm from Jersey, and I'd bet they've said something about us.And as everyone said,it's just jokes,we shouldn't take them seriously.

I love the British episodes, being a British personage myself. Talking of eps we find unsettling, I really don't like to watch The Incredible Melting Man much. The riffing is good and the host segments are good, but the film itself is just too much. Watching a guy disintegrate as he munches his way through the entire cast? How the hell is that enjoyable? Mike and the Bots seem pretty happy with the gore, compared to their reactions to much tamer stuff such as The Brain that Wouldn't Die. And then they send another rocket up at the end and the whole thing's going to end up repeating itself and three more human beings are going to melt and go cannibal and there'll have to be anotherDr Nelson, out to avenge the death of his brother and pleasemummyhelpdon'tletthemeltingmaneatmyface... Ahem.

I don't think the riffing is even that great in The Incredible Melting Man. That's a low point for me.

>>I don't think the riffing is even that great in The Incredible Melting Man. That's a low point for me. Oh, I think its quite good. Its just the film really sickens me. "This week, on Emergency Patient Drop Off!" "They shrunk me and I'm trapped on this huge log!"

I am a proud iconoclast. I love when people make fun of stuff people are suppose to hold dear. It's healthy and helps cure chauvanisms of all kinds!
Riff away at me! I'm a NYC, born pacsifist, Catholic, liberal (on most issues but not all), Italian NY Mets fan, geek!!! ;D ;D

I'm from the South (unfortunately), and I think it's hilarious when the guys rip them southerners as being inbred, racist, trailer-dwelling, sub-moronic white trash. 'Cause to a large extent, they are. And I should know, because I live here. But as many of you have said, it's all in fun, and not to be taken seriously. A person with a good sense of humor can laugh at himself or herself, and I think that's very healthy.
