actually I was just having fun with yousonuva, he never struck me as a serious poster. Really the whole time, it wasn't that big of a deal, I mean I don't like to be called babe, we can have a light hearted debate about it, but it seems things really started heating up after I left, i hate to point fingers but GMan did it, with his "a bit touchy" line, then Blurryeye got pissed and did her great argueing which made everyone stutter and turn in circles. And i come back to see all this debate of whether it was right of me to generalize on a thread that is about generalizing, which set off my fuse, and there we have it. I don't like Gemini man anymore! No really i was just kidding I can't hold a grudge, well except on my 6th grade teacher.... Stop taking my posts so seriously!

Well, I think we've all said our piece very well, and we'll just have to disagree on some points. I do accept that some slightly crude or off-color remarks are going to arise, hell I grew up with 2 brothers, no sisters, and most of my friends are male. I'm one of those so-called "guy's girls". There is definitely a line that should not be crossed though, and if I think it is then I'll say something about it. Of course, no one entirely agrees on where that line is, it's quite personal and subjective. I'll just throw this in, that uninvited sexual innuendos of any form directed at a fellow board member are inappropriate without question. Not that it happened in this thread. This is a general message to all board members, male and female, mods/admins and regulars. Everyone can be more thoughtful of this. Well I think we all understand each other better from this, and peace is all we want (whoa, that was really hippie-like). Regardless of who is or is not "touchy", this sort of issue definitely is. I think everyone can move on from this in a good way. And I'm done. *cheers*  |
