When "Future War" first aired I wasn't that impressed. It was okay but nothing special.
Yet, years later I find this experiment has really grown on me. I recently watched it again and laughed a lot.
I'm curious about your experiences with this one. Has it improved with each viewing, or is it one that doesn't tickle the funny bone very much? OR, has it always been a favorite.

For me it falls into the catagory of it gets funnier each time I see it.
I also like the low rider joke about the pants too.

"Like spent lovers, they lay together..."
"I'm going to hit you so hard with this, that you'll go flying that way..."
"The sad thing is, they're all former prostitutes."
"I could use a 'bong bong' right now."
"Oh, another huge guy. The movie was needing it."
"Yo...let's pick wildflowers."
"I made a memorial to your pee-stain."
Hilarious episode. I think it's a solid B. One of the funniest of the season, but there are better eps. I don't get why it is rated much lower than others.

Future War is one of those episode I like to watch when my day is not doing good and I need cheering up. I'am going to go as far as giving it an A.
"So according to the bells its 97 o clock"

The episode is definitely fun, but I don't think that it's "A" material. I voted "B".

Yeah, I agree with Ator. It's a good ep, but, not a classic to me. There are plenty of classic episodes though. This is just your run-of-the mill episode.

B+
I too wasn't hip to the jive when I first saw this episode... But now that the main character has co-starred in a Major Motion Picture..."Matrix", I revisited it.
Luckily, no flannel was harmed in the production of The Matrix.

I don't think I'll do a rewrite. But every time I watch it I push it up a notch.
I just wondered what others went through with it. It's always nice to have one you didn't care for, become a favorite. I was thinking of going B/B+. It definitly makes me laugh more than others I gave a B- to, Like "Master Ninja I"

This is one of those episodes that you've gotta watch multiple times to like, I think. I didn't like it at first. It's okay now. I'll probably be its biggest fan by May of 2006.

"Jesus was a kick-boxer, right?" - Servo Of course he was! Haven't you ever seen the Matrix? As for Future War, I love it. The movie alone is enough for me to watch it over and over again. Wow. That's weird talking about the Matrix and Future War in the same post. Especially since Daneil Bernhart who played the Runaway played Agent Johnson in Reloaded.

So, Jesus was really a crappy, B-movie actor?
