OK basically something that really really bothers you whenever you see a MST3K movie, or really any movie. A line, a little error in the scene that just gets on your nerves....Like in the first Lord of the Rings you can see a car driving in the background when Sam and Frodo are in the fields... My big thing is in Eegah, well there are allot of things wrong with it, Like the fact that his cave is all covered in clothe, but Joel and the 'bots already pointed that out. The one thing that bugs me is at the end when Mr. Miller says "yes he was real, it says so in the bible, Geniesus chapter 4, verse 32, 'there where giants in those days'" ok, I'm not sure anymore about the exact verse and stuff,I haven't seen it in a long time. But besides the fact that it was totally unneeded, it wasn't even true, after seeing I checked in the bible, chapter 4 doesn't even have a verse 32, I even checked around the book, there's no such verse

They were probably trying to point out the Nephilim, offspring of the disobedient angels and earth women from Noah's time who were giants. But yeah, when you quote from non-existent verses it kind of ruins the effect. Plus the fact that the Bible then states the flood occurred and wiped out every living thing except those in the Ark, so why even bring it up in Eegah? Same thing with The Space Children quoting from Matthew at the end about the kids being whatever. Maybe it was a fifties thing. Definitely a stupid thing.

Like in the first Lord of the Rings you can see a car driving in the background when Sam and Frodo are in the fields... that is a myth....but in general, movies are made by humans...humans are not perfect. if we were there would never have been MST3K!!!

^ It's not a myth, it was in the original theatrical cut. It was removed for the DVD release, including both the theatrical and extended versions.

How about how the monkey guy from Wild World of Batwoman didn't die when an ATOMIC BOMB detonated in his face!

How about how the monkey guy from Wild World of Batwoman didn't die when an ATOMIC BOMB detonated in his face! Same with Colonel Glenn Manning in The Amazing Colossal Man. He ran up next to the bloody thing, and all it did was burn his skin a little?! He would've vaporized! Also, in The Starfighters, they have a couple little things wrong with the military customs and courtesies. Unless it was different in those days, the flightline is a no-hat, no-salute area.

On Merlin, they did NOT speak Latin. It would take five minutes to ask someone for a second to make the movie more accurate, but, come on! "Ven-nee-kryre" is impossible. a) No spaces in Latin, meaning no linking thingers like this "-" b) They need to be conjugated or delined. c) The V's in Latin are pronounced like a W. VENIVIDIVICI is pronounced weni widi weki

I absolutely loathe narration or voiceover in a movie. I think it's a cop-out for the writers, because it's much easier to just state things baldly in narration than to convey it through dialogue, action, and cinematography. Voiceovers attempt to add a heavy-handed 'dramatic' gravity that gets on my nerves.
So I hate all the narration in "Creeping Terror" (although they lost the original soundtrack, so that explains some of it). I also can't stand Kevin Costner's voiceovers in "Dances With Wolves". That emotionless, sing-song voice grinds at my brain. And the narration in "Seabiscuit" is just pompous. It mars an otherwise good, touching story.
I make an exception for "The Atomic Brain". The narrator's voice is so expressive while making such ridiculous, silly statements, and it's one of the funniest things about that episode. "Making love to an 80-year-old woman in the body of a 20-year-old girl is madness!" Priceless. ;D

I can't get over how The Screaming Skull is so much like the story "Rebecca." It's like they totally ripped it off! I don't know if it was intentional or coincidental, but that's always bugged me a bit (it's still one of my favorite episodes, though).

Many things. Generally plot stupidity.
In Angel's Revenge, they insist that Keiko is Vietnamese. "Keiko" is a Japanese name. It's not even close to a plausible Vietnamese name. And you're not going to find many samurais running around Vietnam either. I realize they were trying to be hip and current, what with the war and all still fresh on everyone's minds, but everything about Keiko screams Japanese.
"Pyumaman." Come on, Donald, everyone around you can say it right, why can't you?
In the end of Time Chasers - why the hell did Nick go and ruin poor corporate lackey Matt's life? He's in a bloody time machine - he can easily go back and just make sure Matt never finds out. Urgh.
Space Mutiny - they go have sex in a greenhouse...complete with a blanket and pillows. The hell? Way too much preparation for mindless sex, I think.
Oh, and about the Lord of the Rings car - it was indeed edited out on the DVDs, but Peter Jackson didn't learn of it until after the commentary was recorded. I read an article about him talking about Lord of the Rings bloopers and he finally cleared that one up. He got a good laugh out of all the mistakes too - amazingly enough, a good number of them had a backstory.
