I've never heard of Gamera- Super Monster...GOTTA SEE IT! Im suprised they didn't do Gamera vs. Virus. It probably would have been riffed hilariously well. www.imdb.com/title/tt0081675/It's basicly Gamera's equivelant to Godzilla's Revenge. Haven't seen it personally. Gamera harms me mentally.

Deathstalker VI??? I hope you meant IV. The idea that Deathstalker is a SIX movie series is terrifying.
Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster would've made for a fun episode.

This has been discussed before, and I'll explain it again.
The only reason they got the rights to those two Godzilla films was because Godzilla vs. Megalon was public domain and Godzilla vs. Sea Monster was distributed by Film Ventures International. Don't you think Best Brains tried to get the rights to other Godzilla films.
Same thing for Cave Dwellers, it was a Film Ventures International release. That's why it's the only one done by Best Brains.
I think that they probably didn't know about Gamera vs. Virus. They only did the Sandy Frank-Gamera films. Sandy Frank decided not to do Gamera vs. Virus for some reason and so Best Brains never bothered to ask AIP for those rights or just didn't think it exsisted.
Deathstalker though was done late in the 7th season which was the end for sword and socery films, after the Sci-Fi, Sci-Fi mandate. Too bad, they probably could have gotten the rights to those films.

As for The Creature that Walks Among Us (along with Revenge of the Creature) that is very confusing to me. They had the rights to those Universal films, they were about the same on the cheese meter too.
My best guess is that Mary Jo Pehl thought those films had too much dialouge or maybe she has a thing for Clint Eastwood and wanted to do his debut film.
