What's the Morrissey or Smiths song in "Pod People" that the kids play when they're driving out to the country in their van?
I like The Smiths/Morrissey, but that song is pretty awful. LOL

Was that an actual song? I thought it was just generic rock created probably by whoever wrote "Idiot Control Now."
What should I do?
Retire.

I do not believe that was actually a Morrissey song. I'll admit the singer sounded a bit like him, but I'm pretty sure it was a generic song.

They started in on those Morrissey riffs and it sure sounded like him. Morrissey put out some poor solo stuff at times, but I didn't think he did anything that bad. LOL

Also, remember that Rhino released it, and the song went on for over thirty seconds I believe. If it was a MOrrisey song, no matter how crappy, I'm sure may cost a pretty penny.

I tried to find out a few years ago but hit a wall. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Morrissey. I tried to buy the movie but it was a zone AlphaDeltaBravoNiner VHS and didn't play in my VCR. I was hoping that the end credits would list the song/singer.
It was listed on Amazon.com.uk under it's alternate title. I was hoping to find out why the opening sequence was completely different from the movie itself ("That guy's got unfortunate skin aura", "I dare ya to eat it... lick it first").

Maybe Morrisey needed the money REAL BAD LOL Well, he and Johnny Marr did get sued by the other Smiths band members for royalties. And Morrissey was without a record label for quite a while.

I've never seen this episode, and I'm a huge Smiths/Morrissey fan. Anyone have the song in .mp3 format? I'm curious to hear what it sounds like.
