Thanks for the handy-dandy new update! extremely minor correction: Gorgo was aired only once. I'd put Blood Waters of Dr. Z as unlikely, due to the quotes from the original producer/director given I quoted in the previous thread. He was not happy that it was out of his control for many years, not happy about the MST3K treatment, and was fighting with the distributor over who exactly owned the thing. Doesn't sound like something Rhino would want to mess with.

Hell... he's not going to be making any money off it otherwise! The guy should be more pissed at SciFi, since they did the rights negotiations. heh. But yes, it's not in the same situation Incredibly Strange Creatures was. Media Blasters had the home video rights, and was able to sub-license it to Rhino. I'll be posting an update about Puma Man soon! ;D

Updated City Limits (and the other FVI movies), Bride of the Monster, Code Name: Diamond Head, San Francisco International, and Puma Man.
I'm trying to dig up info on INI, the company who bought FVI (INI is actually the company who licensed the movies to BBI). Who did Rhino get Cave Dwellers and Pod People from?

Sweet, Final Justice is highly likely! ;D Yep. Maybe we can get an introduction by Joe Don Baker? It would be hillarious if Rhino never told him what version of the movie it was. "I hope you enjoy this forgotten gem of a movie, which I consider to be my finest work. I was completly robbed of an Oscar for this brilliant material. And then of course those jackasses at that Mysterious Movie Science 4000 ruined it, but I'm glad you folks got to see the real version."

I mean, BBI ragged on him pretty hard... but c'mon. It's a guy and two puppet robots! Does anyone know what Roger Corman thought of MST3k?

I think I read an interview of Roger Corman once where he said something to the effect that he really wasn't too upset about MST3K using his movies. He didn't like that they were being riffed on a whole lot, but at least they did a good job of it.

Making the Green Slime an extra is an AWESOME idea, although I don't know how keen Jim Mallon would be about it. He may consider what was presented on the Scrapbook as good enough for fans and leave it at that.

He didn't like that they were being riffed on a whole lot, but at least they did a good job of it. That's good to know, as he isn't a guy who should take his work very seriously. While he was involved with a lot of MSTed movies, he only owns one or two. Making the Green Slime an extra is an AWESOME idea, although I don't know how keen Jim Mallon would be about it. He may consider what was presented on the Scrapbook as good enough for fans and leave it at that. I hope BBI puts the Scrapbook Tape on DVD at least. Though it would be nice to have the complete pilot (with the "secret of life on 8-track" segment and all).

BTW, you forgot to post your specific "likelihood verdict" for Jack Frost.

Really great job travis. I think like many of my other fellow admins/mods I agree that this doesn't need to be stickied. It will evolve, and when need be, you can always bump it. Why look at the bumping here. I never sticked mine. I think this is a good info thread, but not general enough that it will need a sticky.
Oh and Torgo sucks.

And I'm ok with just bumping it, I tend to find updates often enough so it won't get lost. I wish Rhino had more contacts on their contact page, "Dr.Rhino" is pretty much useless.
