Well, that's it for the broadcasts of thieves blood. The streamings of the show went well. We've received no complaints so far. If you were watching the Academy Awards instead of Moonbase Nine, shame on you. Heh. We can't air the show again for a long time to come. Take care.

We recently finished shooting the Host Segments for "MB9: Episode 3: The Animation Show". We shot the last scene between Phil and the Old Fanghorn. When it came to shooting the Theater Segments, and we came to the end of Short No. 2, I put a halt to the filming. I decided this episode will not feature the shadowrama technique. What we shot just wasn't funny. I think I made the right decision. Rather than do a bad job we'll leave the various cartoons as they are.
Public Access itself is now at risk. They'll be passing a Bill soon that is designed to dismantle the whole system. So, many of the producers could eventually turn to video-blogging to get their material seen. There could come a day when PA will be no more. It essentially boils down to the fact that they don't care what the public thinks; the public need not have a televised-forum wherein they can voice their own opinions and present their weird art. Many producers intend to go on doing what they've been doing for years -- they'll just have to find another way of doing it.
In this case, look for a great flood of producers turning to the internet as their new medium for self-expression. Losing PA could happen sooner than you think. I still intend to direct and edit more Jazz Shows and produce more episodes of Moonbase Nine (providing the talent is still interested).
We'll find out soon enough what the story is.

The show has been edited and exists without any shadowrama whatsoever, but I think I made the right choice. However, it cannot be called a fan video as it stands. The only similarity with MST is the excerpt after the end credits and that's a behind the scenes shot of the shooting of the show itself. So it's a departure, so what? It took forever to make the show and it's finally done, that's what counts. Bye.

I thought I had lost this footage. I recently discovered I still had the VHS tape that contained early footage of Robert Downey, Jr acting in a short scene for a sci-fi thriller, before he became famous ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WRym0KD7CQ
