...by my fiance' for being a member of this board! He saw me typing and I told him I was a member of this online board, and I was talking to my friends. Then I said, "It's cool because I might become a moderator here, and I've only been on it two months." He laughed and said, "Yeah, 'cause these people are real cool," very sarcastically. Well, I bristled and said, "Don't make fun of me for this. You play EverQuest!" Then he said, "I was just joking. I won't make fun of you...for being dorky." Grrrrr!
But he seriously won't make fun of me anymore, or at least not much more. This probably isn't giving the best impression of him to you. He's just a rascal like that, and he likes to tick me off. But I will eventually bend him to my will. I'm pretty good at that.
Agh, not only do people not understand when I try to explain MST3K to them, they are even further bemused when I try to explain this discussion board!

You can't explain it to those who are beyond comprehension. As for his dork remark, I mean, come on, we just joke around and discuss. I bet he's had all-night Everquest escapades.
Now that's cool, everyone knows that Everquest is all the rave in popular cliques,

Oh yeah, well you just tell your boyfriend that one of the board members here just happens to be a lumpy old guy who sits around on his ass all day watching MST and eating ice cream and...

Me I never get made fun of for going on this board or watching MST however there have been times when a bunch of morons at my school say that me and my friends just waste our lives playing video games. I find that funny because the people who say that waste their lives doing heavy drugs.

My friends say I am obsessed with MST3K, for I always bring in books with Michael J. Nelson, and one who could be a female dog sometimes gets all mad when I mention the show. Since I was moaning and complaining when the show was getting off the air, she now says "We don't care about your stupid show being cancelled. That's all you talk about." Upon me saying something as simple as, "I don't know where it came from. I heard it on Mystery Science Theater 3000." And then all of my other friends come to my defense and she backs down. Once she said the show sounded stupid when my slightly sadistic friend said "Blah Blah Blah Mystery Science Theater 2000?" And my masochistic but nice friend said, "Come on, ________ (name not being given), That's her favorite show." And soon everyone was apologizing to me.
Anyway, that's my story. . . .
