I saw the episode where they were sawing things in half.
Beavis: Hey, Butthead, this is giving me a stiffy. Butthead: Well, that's why they call it 'Woodshop'.
Add in your own idiotic laughter in between words.

Stewert's dad: Are your shakes made from real milk and ice cream, or that reconstituded powder? Beavis: Uhhh... yeah! Stewert's dad: Yeah it's the real stuff, or yeah it's the fake stuff? Beavis: Uhhh... yeah! Stewert's dad: Can I speak to a manager? Butthead: Uhhh...I'm an assistant manager. Stewert's dad: Ok, I have a real simple question. Are your shakes made from real milk and ice cream, or that reconstituded powder? Butthead: Uhhh... We have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Stewert's dad: Forget it! I'll go somewhere else!

I torture my friends with constant Beavis and Butthead impersionations. I can imitate them perfectly. My fourth favorite show of all time. Besides MST3K, what are the other two?

Probably South Park and The Three Stooges. Just as a technical point. I don't really consider The Three Stooges a TV show. Sure, we all know them from TV but they were made for theaters. I think if your listing best TV shows it should be considered things specifically made for TV. Just a thought.

In the words of Cartman: "If phantomengineer tells me to list TV shows only, I'd say, 'HEY, you stupid son of a bitch!' I'd kick you in the nuts!" EDIT: There were some later episodes that were made for TV I didn't know I was mentioned on South Park. But you have to admit the made for TV Stooges are inferior. I'm sure your affection for them is from the Currly years, and to some extent Shemp. Same thing with the Warner Brothers cartoons. In the 60's they went into production for TV but they are of lesser quality. Anyway I wasn't looking for an argument, but it is a valid point. If you show a series of Marx Brothers movies on TV it doesn’t make it a TV show. It's just a way of looking at it, it's not really that important.

"And yet another Edit: I said these were my favorite shows. Not TV shows"
This edit came after my post and this is a generational thing. I grew up in a time when TV "shows" and "movies' were two completely different things. I remember some time back a movie was on TV and my nephew said "I've seen this show before." My thought was it's not a show but a movie. I think this comes from you young guys who grew up with movies readily available on tape and cable TV. It's just a matter of perception, no big deal but it's there.

Oh, indeed yes, the two Joe eras were terrible. Curly Joe and Joe Derita were awful. Shemp and Curly is where it's at. Agreed. So why were you correcting me that there were Three Stooges made for TV? Did you think I didn't know that? It made you appear to be supporting the TV produced Stooges. And I can't believe that.

GASP! Oh well. I had to sound lik I was right. If we all agreed with the opposition, then there'd be no arguments, there for no more opinions, therefore ho more humanity. So we'd all be a buch of communist robots. Ok, so I went overboard....but, I DO NOT like the later Stooges. And the cartoons were awful! Yes! Testify brother.
