Ok so I had this dream last night that was really wierd well kinda of scary too I suppose, but I'll leave out the really wierd part (that has to do with staffs etc.) cause then you'd all laugh at me more than usuall. Anyways I figure this dream was brought on by the fact that we're studying the cold war in History, and what all going on today: so I dreamed last night that Bush announced that he was gonna nuc Iraq he said something stupid along the lines of "they deserve it" then when questioned if he was aware this could bring on WW3 he says "yes, but I believe that it's the sacrafice we must all make to solve the problem in the middle east" only when asked to elaborate and tell exactly what went on that caused this need to bomb Iraq he would just keep saying that they deserved it. And what was freakiest of all everyone was agreeing with him!!! They where all "yeah lets go blow the crap out of these bastards!" And I remember in the dream feeling absolutely helpless, the world really was going to hell, the most brainless person could see it, but no one could now but me. i was in panic and building my bomb shelter, while everyone else was celebrating. Ok I know this is just a dream, but I never felt so well as I said before helpless, I don't like that feeling. but I know Bush would never do something like this...I mean...he's not THAT stupid is he?

Never believe dreams. I had a dream last night, I won a football game, kissed some gorgeous woman, and had my shoes walk off without me. Bah. Like that's ever gonna happen. What woman in their right mind would let me kiss her?

Sounds like a vision, not a dream. I believe that could happen.

The dream actually might mean something else...if you are having problems in your life or something, a dream will sometimes try to illustrate that in some strange way.
I usually see the future in my dreams. It may sound loopy, but i've had several dreams about seemingly nothing that would come true exactly how they were in my dream.

I have a friend who's like that, it's happend twice that I know of. And actually you are right right now I have allot of crisis like things going on with friendships, and leaving behind Spain, and tests, are the big problems of my life right now, and they all will drasticaly effect my future, headaches,,, all lots of headaches....

I've had some dreams that have come true. A few weeks before 9-11 I had a dream where I was walking down the streets of Manhatten (I know the city well enough) and a helicopter (not a plane) crashed into a building. When I woke up I had the strangest feeling that I can not explain. I was in a terrible mood the whole day. Whenever I tell someone about it they just say it's a coincidence.I dont know.

I'm gonna sound all Miss Cleo on you all but I do think that there are some dreams that are warnings and predictions of future. there are others that are trying to scream out your feelings, (perhaps that was what mine was I didn't mention that I searched high and low for a way to solve it and it did find the answer that was a staff part, which hopefully means I've found the answer to my friendship problem) and then there are others which I normally have that simply make no sense what so ever, like oh I don't know, hunting werewolves for kicks and giggles... so there, that's my thought on the world of dreams.

I think most of my dreams are just stuff I have been subconsciencely suppressing getting an airing. Sometimes its unrequited love for someone, or a task or hobby unfulfilled. Rarely anything funny. Last night I dreamed of a woman I only vaguely know. We went to her house and after passionately declaring our devotion to one another we did what comes..well...you get the idea. My point is, I have never had anything I ever dreamed about be prophetic. I can say with some confidence that I have never had a "dream" come true. Your dream about Pres. Bush is plausible, but not prophetic.
5 cents please ;D

I had a really f'd up dream a while ago. Stay with me here because it's pretty interesting. I was up on this wooden bridge constructed through a deep forest with a swamp near the bridge, but not under it.
As I passed over a certain part of the forest I saw a man chasing a little girl with a giant snow shovel shaped tool with fork-like spikes protruding from the end. For some reason my dream self thought this was funny at first until the man chased the girl under the bridge.
I couldn't see anything at this point, but I heard a series of violent bashes followed by screams. After about six of these metallic thuds, the man emerged from under the bridge with the girl impaled on the snow shovel like tool he was carrying. He then shoved her into the swamp, under the thick muddy water where she couldn't be seen. I ran to get help, though it was too late, but the dream phased out shortly after.

That wasn't a dream, it was a nightmare. That's pretty much what I usually get. No dreams. Well no good ones anyway. Just dark ones to nightmares. It's awesome! But of cousre I could do with a nice dream every now and again. I bet I get those too but I don't remember them or they weren't good enough to leave an impact for remembering. Dream on...

I generally don't recall good dreams either, but when I do, I'm always disappointed when I wake up, so it's usually for the best. Most of my dreams either involve weird nonsensical imagery that I can't place to anything, or just some kind of panicked struggle with some other force.

Does anyone else have a dream when a situation calls for it, you have to hit someone? However, when you try to hit them, your fist moves all slow and un-controlled. Same with screaming, except a muffled whisper comes out. I used to get these all the time. I haven't had one like this since I became a Christian, so maybe that had something to do with it. You know, my spiritual side trying to speak out, take action in my life, but held back and muffled because of what my old beliefs were (Atheism).

I've never really had anything like that. Most of the conflicts I have in dreams end up with someone dying. Either myself or the person I'm fighting against. I didn't start dying in my dreams until a few months ago.

Someone mentioned sleep pararlysis a while back and I think I've had that happen. My body would go into a sudden shock while I was half awake half asleep and couldn't move. It's terrifying and fascinating at the same time for me.

I've never had that, but I've had my body jolt around for no apparent reason while half asleep. I'm pretty sure everyone goes through that ocassionally though.
