Three fairly (but not overly) popular episodes, and a pretty weak in most fans one. Still better than 3 weak ones and one great one.
I never thought The Dead Talk Back would be on DVD, just because it's not too popular of an episode, but knew it would be easily feezable because it's PD.
Hmmmmm, it's being released in less than a month. I have a bad feeling there's going to be a slip up on these.

I'm happy. I haven't seen the two Sci-Fi episodes, and I like Monster A Go Go and Dead Talk Back.

The Dead talk back is a great episode. I have to disagree with my esteemed colleague. The Dead Talk Back is one of my least favorite eps ever- it's in my bottom 10. I'm very pleased with the other eps, but this almost makes me want to not buy the set now. I'm sure it's how many of you feel about Hamlet being on volume 4. Boo, I say. Boo.

Again, even though it's probably not intentional by Rhino, it's better to have three great episode, and one terrible one, than 3 terrible episodes, and one great one. At least now The Dead Talk Back fans get their episode, and the rest of us can regale in the other episodes.

I'm OK with both of them... Monster a Go-Go is a classic, and Dead Talk Back is one of my faves. I was hoping for episodes I don't already own, but, well, what can you do.

Wow every episode in this set are excellent. I'm glad they went with Dead Talk Back, this obscure season 6 episode is great, and i'm one of those that like the ice box subject matter of The Selling Wizard.

yes! Every episode is a bona fide classic! Even Dead Talk Back. Host segs not so much with that guitar solo, but the riffing is great. My ep appears grainy so maybe the Rhino treatment will clear it all up!

IMHO, all four are great and all feature fantastically terrible movies, starting with Monster A-Go-Go:
"There was no monster..."
Joel: Oh my God, the joke's on US! Servo: BOOOOOO!
The Dead Talk Back (albeit I found the short rather lacking, I do love this eppy):
Crow: Another brutal interrogation scene peters out...
Phantom Planet:
Servo: Congratulations, Mrs. Astronaut, it's a boy, boy, boy... Mike: Wake up, Frank, you wet the bed, bed, bed, bed... Crow: Frank, you'll have to take third grade again, gain, gain, gain... Mike: Frank, this is Northwest collection Agency, do you value your credit rating, rating, rating... Crow: I'm afraid you're not 7/11 timber, Frank, Frank, Frank... Servo: Frank, you're the worst party clown we've ever had, had, had...
And the stark evil that is Hobgoblins:
Mike: Standby for spit-take... Spit-take away!

There's going to have to be some nice extra features for me to buy this. My fan copies are fine and I don't like Hobgoblins. I think The Selling Wizard is a fairly bland short. Give me a reason to buy it Rhino.

Hmmm like supporting Rhino and Best Brains and encouraging future releases?
