Haven't heard a word from no one - I was going to try the BBI since that's what got things moving last time - but has anyone else written them already?
On the plus - at least Monster A- Go Go looks sharp. While I can watch my home copy of DTB without distraction, I needed an upgrade for MAGG.

Watched the Rhino versions of Merlin and Time Chasers last night for the first time. I agree, the darkness problems on Merlin can be distracting as the seats/M&tB's completely blend in during some scenes. I didn't notice any problems with Time Chasers tho.

So has Rhino responded to anyones complaints about this set? Nothing for me so far...This only makes me want to boycott Rhino from now on. Two screwups in a row...I can only imagine how messed up volume 9 is going to be.

Meh, I don't have any other way to see new episodes besides Sky. I won't boycott them... if I had the resources, I'd have all the episodes on DVD right now.

This just arrived in my mailbox a few hours ago...
"Please send your defective disc to:
Rhino New Media Attn. Mac Dunlop 3400 West Olive Ave. 5th Floor Burbank, CA 91505
We'll send you a replacement. Please include your mailing address and a copy of your email (or a note detailing your request). Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
Dr. Rhino"
So I'll have to send in my disk and get what in return? Another defective disk or one that is actually fixed? Waiting up to 1 and 1/2 months is quite a long wait, since there can't be too many MST3K fans that will produce a ton of replacements disk for...Or are there?

Yeah, forgot to mention that it's for that disk.
But after reading the horror stories from those involved with the mess up on Volume 7...I'm afraid to send them my DVD just to wait several months for either the same disk, a corrected disk, or nothing at all.

Decisi8ns, I'm still waiting for my Killer Shrews Replacment Disk. I requested one back when they first offered to replace them. But my name is probably at the bottom of the list alphabetically, so I'm not expecting it anytime soon.

Sent a very polite and profession letter to the BBI. I'll let y'all know what I hear back.

Thanks, but after reading this: forrestcrow.proboards47.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=deep&thread=1134194921&page=1I'll just keep the DVD and try to ignore the painfully obvious problems with it...Or just get drunk before I watch "The Dead Talk Back".

According to what Sat. News has posted, they aren't going to offer replacements for The Dead Talk Back.
