...a doctor undergoes an accelerating transformation into a man-bat creature, which ruins his vacation and causes considerable distress for his wife. I love that description! Because the worst thing about transforming into a man-bat is that it messes up your vacation plans and upsets your spouse.

TCM is showing The Brain That Wouldn't Die right now. I didn't know it was going to be on until I saw while channel surfing. It's actually a letterbox edition. And to think all this time we weren't seeing the whole film as the director had intended. Who knew?

And to think all this time we weren't seeing the whole film as the director had intended. Who knew? The usual fullscreen prints we see are open-matte, so the widescreen version just cuts off excess head-room.

I do not know how many cable companies carry the THIS network. It's affiliated with our local (Portland, Oregon) ABC network. So maybe other cities local ABC affiliate carries it as well.
On THIS network:
Friday April 17th at 9 A.M.
The Gunslinger

I know this doesn't count as "TV" per se but over at American Movie Classics' website (www.amctv.com), you can download a bunch of un-Mistied movies like Hercules Unchained, War of the Colossal Beast, Invasion of the Neptune Men, Horror of Party Beach, and scads of others...
