Not quite on TV, but I just found out the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh is showing "The Amazing Transparent Man" in its theater on Friday, June 4th. I wouldn't be able to make it, but I thought it was very interesting all the same. They really should show it back to back with the MST3K episode, or at least with the uncut "Days of Our Years" playing first. ;D Amazing Transparent Man is awful on it's own. You can watch with friends and cut it up and the MST3K version is hilarious but on it's own it sucks just like so many othe rMST3K movies when they are on their own.

I'm definitely checking out The Green Slime. That Kinji Fukasaku sure made some bizarre and offbeat films that are strangely enjoyable.
If you have Time Warner Cable (Southern California, but I don't know what other regions have as a market equivalent) which includes "On Demand" or some sort of pay-per-view package, then Agent For H.A.R.M. and Radar Secret Service are available. Oddly enough, 1) they're listed in the "Movie Hits" category among classic, 4-star films, 2) the review blurbs play it up like they are actually exciting and 3) they cost $2 a pop to watch.

According to TCM's schedule GREEN SLIME is NOT letterboxed. There's never been a letterboxed release in the U.S. There was a Japanese language widescreen release (interesting to note that the Japanese version is about 7 minutes shorter than the U.S.). That said, widescreen or not, GS is one great movie.

For those of you with HDTV and HD service, MGM-HD is airing Squirm starting this Sunday. My DVR is already set.

I watched part of "Thunderbirds 6" on "This" network today. Not one they did, but they did do a Thunderbirds one during KTMA years, didn't they? I tried to watch it all from the point where I caught it, but it was just so dull.
They're showing "Gor" on "This" tomorrow (Sunday) at one o'clock, I believe. Not Outlaw, but the first one. Not uncut, obviously, as there are commercials, and who knows if they edited it for time or not, but still should be interesting.

Green Slime just started, watching it now. I recorded The Killer Shrews, and will be foolish enough to attempt to watch it at some point. I suspect I won't last too long.

A couple of weeks ago here in Chicago they showed Village of the Giants on a local station. I personally like the MST3K version. I wasn't about to watch it unriffed(if that's a word).

I got mine right after it was announced. A tremendous addition to any film library!
