I'd never thought you two would veer so much off a subject, especially you, Phantom! I'm gone for six days and suddenly there's havoc all around!
Anyway, introducing MST3K to others is hard.

So then, back on topic, I still think the MST hour stuff could work well as it's more segmented and you can stop at the end of one "episode."

I never sit down and watch it with someone. Let them borrow a tape and watch it when they feel like it. Otherwise, it always seems like expectations are too high, or I'm laughing when they aren't or something.

If someone asks about my t-shirt I'll tell them about the show and leave it up to them. Odds are, people that like something funny and off-beat are gonna find out about this show on their own anyway. I can't be bothered with most people. Let them stick to their Reality Shows.

Otherwise, it always seems like expectations are too high, or I'm laughing when they aren't or something. That makes sense, and seems effective. But, I like to see and hear the person laugh. Selfish, I know.

Nobody likes it. No point in trying anymore.
