I "met" a gal on AOL once who was really into MST3K. Then again, she might not be a "she" after all. Could be some perv.
Hey! Who's that creeping outside my window?

I had a gf years ago who always ejoyed watching it with me but never was a huge fan. My current gf thinks its stupid, which works out well for me since I prefer to watch it when I'm zoning out by myself.
Anyway, I think there are several female fans on this board.
LOL! "The Women of MST3K" Sounds like a good idea for a calender!

Um, I'm a girl who loves MST. Do I get to pose for the calendar? I don't have to wear a thong, do I? I do find that MST seems to be inexplicably more of a "boy" thing. Any psychologists out there that might be able to explain this phenomenon? Or is it just that boys are more likely to post on discussion boards? Hmmmm. Oh, and good luck getting "lade," dude.

Not to sound like an ass or anything, but most girls aren't into these kind of things. Same with guys though. The majority of people are in to MTV, shopping, parties, and simple stuff that doesn't really make you think. Girls are even less likely to play with computers or TV since guys are more likely to just sit around and watch stuff (I know I am!).

I'm guessing the reason subconciously why MST3K is mainly a man show is because it's primary writers have been men. Joel, Kevin, Trace and Mike being the primary writers. (no offense to Paul, Frank, Mary Jo, or Jim but I'm talking from the beginning and Mike was the head writer) Until season 4 there wasn't a permanant female writer on the show. Even until the end of season 1 (episdoe 104) there wasn't even a female 'Contributing writer'. The max on female writers on the show was 2. Hell the first hexfeild view screen apperance was Mike Nelson in drag.
Any teen girls out there into MST3K. I doubt it since I can only find three other people (out of 2000) at my school that like MST3K. Two of them didn't even know it was on Comedy Central. Although one person said that they didn't watch it because it's too smart. Hey at least he's honest most will say "it's a dumb puppet show".

Of course you have to show some thong action! You want the calender to sell don't you? jk Anyway, I'm sure there are alot more female fans than what is showing up on forums. I do think guys are just more in to posting about their interests.
