Some more unofficial stats (as of August 5th):
266 votes for 92 episodes.
Rhino releases have 126 votes (or 47.4%).
Amazingly, even though The Rhino Factor is definitely affecting the votes, 16 Rhino releases have yet to get a single vote. Among them:
The Skydivers The Atomic Brain Bloodlust The Unearthly The Dead Talk Back The Creeping Terror The Incredibly Strange Creatures....
A statistic I'm rather impressed by, since most of those eps are in my personal bottom 10.
Oh yeah, another Rhino with zero votes? Hamlet.

One more quick stat:
Guess how many non-Rhino Joel eps have received at least 5 votes?
Zero.
That's right, zero. Zilch. Nada.
In fact, 25 different eps have received 4 votes or more. 13 are Rhinos, 10 are non-Rhino Mike eps. Only 2 of those 25 are non-Rhino Joel eps (Gamera & Santa Claus).
Make of that what you will.

some of my favorite eps are
1)Fire Maidens of Outer Space. The whole Timmy thing was great, and the riffs in the movie were funny as well.
2)I Accuse My Parents. Poor Jimmy, having to join the mob and all, just because of his Mom.
3)Werewolf. Bad acting, bad accents, good funny riffs, and of course, Mike turns into Werecrow.
4)Ring of Terror. The world's oldest college students, and Puma!!!
5)Day the Earth Froze. Just a goofy movie. I liked the Mads Invention Exchange of the Unhappy Meal. that was just great, used hypodermic needles and drive your car beyond the grassy knoll.

Of course, you're right. I read the wrong column on my spreadsheet. It has 4 votes, it's not from season 4. In any event, my point is proven even more strongly. Now only one of the top 25 vote getters is a non-Rhino Joel. The next time I run a contest, I'm gonna ask skyroniter to only provide Joel eps as prizes.

I am going to post in this thread again, I am going to re-do mine because the first time I did my top 5 it was top for both Joel & Mike, so here is my top 5 (it changes but this is what it is for this thread!)
1)303-Pod People-I love this show, Trumpy is just so funny looking and he kills people, the host segments were great & I loved Crow talking as Trumpy A+
2)512-Mitchell-This is Joel's last show and what a way to leave on a good note. MST3K makes Joe Don look bad twice, which is geat for us fans. This is the better out of the two Baker movies, but Final Justice did not miss out by that much. This is just a great show. A+
3)704-The Incredible Melting Man-I love this show from season 7, this is one of the worst movies on mst3k and it came from the 70s. I just love a melting man that kills people and he gets stronger as he melts.A+ show
4)1006-Boogy Creek II:& The Legend Continues-This is another great Mike show. It comes from the best mst3k box-set. I love this episode from top to bottom. It starts at Arkansas University which is about 2 & 1/2 hours from my house, then they go down to the southern part of Arkansas(the worst part of Arkansas) to go and find the big-foot type thing. I love the riffs. This is a A+ show!!!
5)318-Star Froce: Fugitive Alien II- The first Fugitive Alien show was really good but this one is even better!!! I love the Japan movies, because they are so stupid they are funny. The host segements are good and the riffs are funny. Great Joel show top to bottom A+.
Honorable Mention: Time of the Apes, Space Mutiny, Time Chasers, Horror at Party Beach, Laserblast, & Squirm!

I've only seen around half of the series, so this list is far from permanent.
And I apologize for the simple list, but the main reason I chose each of these episodes (lots of laughing) is the same for each.
#1 Jack Frost #2 The Final Sacrifice #3 Space Mutiny #4 Manos: The Hands of Fate #5 Cave Dwellers / Hobgoblins (tie)
Very honorable mentions: Red Zone Cuba, The Incredible Melting Man, The Thing That Couldn't Die, The Girl in Gold Boots, San Francisco International, I Accuse My Parents, Werewolf, Eegah & Soultaker.
KTMA honorable mentions: The Last Chase & Humanoid Woman.

*Feeling guilty over rules violation* [glow=red,2,300]Jack Frost[/glow] Hilarious riffing! This is one of my favorite films ever featured on the show. I started watching MST during season eight, and this is the episode that turned me into an addict. ;D [glow=red,2,300]The Final Sacrifice[/glow] My only (very small) complaint is that they should've saved this one for the season nine finale. But the episode, itself, is flawless. Strange movie + relentless riffing = MST3K in top form! [glow=red,2,300]Space Mutiny[/glow] This is one of the episodes that I make sure not to overdue. I've learned that if I wait a while in between viewings, this one never gets old! There are several MST3K episodes which loose steam towards the end, while Space Mutiny just gets better & better. And the last time I watched it, I discovered a new riff that I must have missed the first 30 times! I think it was Tom who had a very legitimate question about the woman in charge of continuity over the end credits. That line really made me LMAO! ;D [glow=red,2,300]Manos: The Hands of Fate[/glow] I'll never forget the first time I saw this a few years back. I literally laughed nonstop for 90 minutes! Unfortunately, I wore this one out big time & the jokes just don't make me laugh as much these days. Still, this is probably the best-writen Joel episode I've seen so far. [glow=red,2,300]Cave Dwellers[/glow] I love everything about this episode! This is such a perfect movie for the show & it was a great decision to make this the season premier. The host segments are perfect! The theatre segments are perfect! And in a weird cheesy way, I actually find this movie kind of interesting. What more could I ask for in an episode!? ;D [glow=red,2,300]Hobgoblins[/glow] M&TB react perfectly to this one...even when they're not speaking! The first time this episode on SFC, I remember actually ending up on the floor, laughing hysterically. And Crow's documentary on women gets me every time! IMHO, Hobgoblins is a real standout of the series.

I'm proud to say I've seen every available episode of MST3K, not bad for a British based Mistie who only discovered it three years ago me thinks, and these are my favourites at the moment;
1) Manos: Hands of Fate: Well it's the Daddy isn't it? Who knew movie making could get so bad? It figures it was directed by a manure salesman. The worst movie featured, although that could be, and no doubt has been, debated, coupled with some of the tightest, funniest riffing ever heard on the show. And Torgo is such a great character! How do you know he's evil? He's got big knees, a speech impedement and two sets of eyebrows. The riffs on the way he speaks crack me up every time!
2) Cave Dwellers Miles O' Keefe became a minor celebrity in Britain thanks to a TV show called So Graham Norton, made when he was still funny, in which, for reasons I can't remember, Graham became Miles' stalker, phoning him constantly and even getting him on the show. They talked about Tarzan the Ape Man, but surprisingly this movie didn't come up. Hmmm..... I just love this episode full stop. One of the first I saw, I went for the Rhino box sets and single DVDs first, this was just a standout. From the goofy invisible monsters to handgliding(!) this was just hilarious. They had Miles' costar Bo Derek in that Tarzan film on Graham Norton and they phoned him. She didn't seem to remember who he was! He definately came out of it looking like a good guy. Shame he was in this movie really.
3) Space Mutiny So many funny names for the big slab of Beef playing the lead! Fridge Largemeat, Bolt Vanderhuge. It also has the sweatiest villian ever and a woman who rises from the dead purely to get to work being a space receptionist on time!
4) Outlaw You can see why they won the Peabody for this one. It goes a long way to cementing Mike as host purely because it's such an assured episode and sets up a pretty nice run of episodes to finish Season 5. Another one with beefy men not wearing much, I may need to question my sexuality after this list, and a faded Jack Palance. You've got to love good actors turning up in crap like this cos the SOL crew have such a great time making fun of them! Oh, and the evil queen woman's hot! And that's not just to reassert my manliness after all the beefy men! Stop looking at me like that!
5) Skydivers Say what you like, but I love the Coleman Francis episodes, as they somehow make for great laughs. This is probably his least painful movie and features some very funny riffing throughout. It was a toss up between this and Red Zone Cuba, the second episode I ever saw, so at that point it was the worst film I had ever seen! I suppose it set me up nicely for being able to watch the painful movies, and as such I love both that and Skydivers, but only because the riffing is so good. Episodes like Mighty Jack and Castle of Fu Manchu just aren't that funny and the movie beats you down. Skydivers doesn't fall into that trap. Oh and Coleman Francis is easily the worst director ever. None of my mates at film school believe me when I say he's worse than Ed Wood or Roger Corman because they refuse to believe movies get worse. Oh they so do!
I am in the middle of watching every episode in order from K04 to 1013. Found out there are a few people on this site doing that. I'm watching two episodes a week so it's taking two years if I counted right. I started on January 1st 2006 and at this point have just watched Castle of Fu Manchu, not in my top 5, how surprising!, and am about to rap up Season 3 with Master Ninja 2 on Tuesday. I really can't remember Season 4 at all so I'm looking forward to seeing it again. You never know a new favourite may emerge.
Honourable mentions go to The Brain That Wouldn't (Couldn't) Die, as, like Mike, it was my first, Time Chasers, cos it's a very funny episode, and the Gamera movies, third season, not KTMA, as they were, mostly, excellent. Also Incredible Melting Man, excellent episode and the DVD of the un-Mistied versions in my Video Shop for £2, that's £1.98 too dear! And Night of the Blood Beast. It really is a great show Myatery Science Theater 3000, isn't it? I didn't count the Movie cos you asked for episodes, but it would be number 5 if I did. The first thing I saw of this phenomina and I love it!

Atari, just so you can keep the tally accurate, I thought I'd mention that I edited my entry. I replaced Manos and Angels' Revenge with The Sinister Urge and Girl In Lover's Lane.

#1. Dean Stalker and the Warriors…from Hell- “It's the perfect MST film, one that fails on every conceivable level, fails so miserably it transcends failure and becomes a thing of sheer delight.”--Kevin Murphy
“The most ambitiously bad movie we’ve ever done”--Mike #2. Santa Claus – I used to tape the ep from the night before then watch it after school. One day I was laughing my @$$ off when Pedro says, “They’re looking at Playboys” and my brother noticed how much I was enjoying the Santa Claus episode. My brother proceeded to watch this episode every day after school for the better part of a year. I’m sure we’ve both memorized it by now.
By his own admission (second Conventiocon), Trace’s favorite episode.
#3. Werewolf – MAN! This is really good episode. They just knew exactly how to take apart this film at that particular time. It was perfect, the film was just asking for a beating. The only hang up I have is that they didn’t say anything about the constant cricket noise, even when they’re indoors during the day.
#4. All four Russo-Finnish films: Mary Jo would talk about how these films could be strikingly beautiful and well done, while being alternately nonsensical and hilarious in between. They really are gems that need to be committed to DVD. Rhino should do a Russo-Finnish four-pack.
If I had to pick one I’d go with Magic Voyage, probably because of how I can relate to the Sinbad character and his struggles. In a way, the fact that MST3K took hold of it plays right into the Sinbad’s absurd existential quest.
#5. TIE: The Undead – STAY! (see underrated thread) AND: Godzilla vs Megalon – Synopsis: Shear Japanese goofiness ensues when two robot making hard-bodied bachelor “friends” and a small raspy-voiced boy named Roxanne (whose relationship to the men is anybody’s guess) employ their Jack Nicholson-esque robot Jet Jaguar to fight off the giant cockroach Megalon, from the Atlantean society of Seatopia.
Think about that for a moment…
…Yeah, that has to be one of the best.
Almost made it: Bronx Warrior 1996 (AKA Escape 2000), Riding With Death, Warrior of the Lost World, Prints of Space, Hobgoblins, Giant Spider Invasion of Savings

1) Mitchell. This is the one that got me permanently hooked on the show. It was the second Rhino ep I bought, after Amazing Colossal Man. Just classic theater work from start to finish with only that god awful helicopter chase being a slight lull in the funny. The only minor knock I have are the host segments that really needed some more movie related stuff, but with a major cast change taking place... I can see why they went the way they did. Anyways, this one NEVER gets old with me, even if I do skip the host segments most of the time.
2) Girls Town. Mr.Atari's glowing praise of this episode pushed me to seek it out via DAP. I am very glad that I did. Another incredible body of theater work. Great riffing throughout. Mamie doesn't hurt either. Servo's "I killed him... then he died..." tirade towards the end brings me to tears everytime I watch this.
3) Wereworf. It took me a long, long time to come around to this episode. For whatever reason I just never thought much of it during the show's initial broadcast run. Once I went back and started revisiting the VHS collection, this one got better and better which each viewing. Yuri's three dozen hairstyles, Flagstaff's non-acting European immigrants, TUSK!, a lesser Estevez, etc etc... Easily my current fav from the Sci-Fi years.
4) The Painted Hills. Along with Mitchell, another episode that never grows old for me. Despite a pretty noticeble loss of steam during the final theater segment, the first hour absolutely kills. The first time I watched this was with three other casual MST fans. It took us over two hours to get through it due to constant pausing and rewinding because we missed so many riffs during fits of laughter. Thanks for the treaty mister!
5) Fugitive Alien I & II: Ok, so disqualify me for grouping these two together at number five.... but they only work as a whole. Neither one of them deserves to be here on their own, but the sum is greater than the value of their parts. The "tried to kill me with a forklift" song was in my head for weeks after watching these.
And the honorable mentions that could very well make my top 5 if you ask me again next month:
Deadly Mantis, Girl in Lovers Lane, I Accuse My Parents, Puma Man, Hobgoblins, Final Sacrifice, Deathstalker, Manos.
