I guess this would be as good a place as any to ask this. Years ago ('91 or '92 I think) I was at a college and saw taped to a professor's door a comic clipped from the newspaper. It had two or three triangle-shaped astronauts outside of a rocket or flying saucer and the caption said "Suppository People From Uranus." Anybody else see that or know what the comic was? I've never been able to find it. (I DON'T think it was Far Side. Almost positive, even though it was the same style.)

I hope there will be something extree in that tin... like a honey-baked ham or a pack of smokes. That would be sweet!!! Sure, I can buy those things for cheaper at the Circle K, but I don't smoke and I don't really care for ham. Maybe some of Torgo's crazy bread?

I've never noticed this, there's all sort of dolls in there. There's a doll (maybe Godzilla) in the door 6 section, another doll before door 5, and what looks like a Gamera doll right before door 2.

Got mine today (Saturday), exactly two weeks after I ordered it. Watched it tonight, laughed my butt off. Won't say any more about the movie itself for those who haven't watched it.

Well, to answer your question, it was 1955 and she was a woman. I wasn't there but according to movies (which never lie), in 1955 a woman could be intelligent and respected enough to be chosen for a four person mission to a distant planet for the first time, but would inevitably become an irrational, hysterical wreck in need of a man to calm her down under stressful situations. Kind of like sitcom dads today.
I posted this a while back in the Just Finished Watching thread, but in Escape 2000, I had a problem with the guy who decides to let the rebuilding corp. president be killed so he can take his place. In his fake news release if I remember right, he talks about the gang's demands being the "unreasonable" amount of $10 million, and an "unreasonable" amount of time to come up with the money. This is a company that is rebuilding a new, futuristic New York City, and we're supposed to believe they can't find $10 million somewhere?

From the ACEG: "Refers to ventriloquist Jeff Dunham and his weird vent figure named Peanut. The phrasing of his introduction makes it sound as though we're supposed to know what a Woozle is."

Thanks guys. For some reason I could've sworn it had happened during a Dr. F and Frank episode. I know my friends and I used to speculate on why they couldn't leave the theater back during the CC years, so I must have muddled the two in my memory.

Isn't there a Comedy Central era episode where Mike either tries to leave the theater, or not enter it in the first place, and finally comes in saying the Mads cut off the oxygen outside the theater? I know Joel gets "movie-signed against his will" one time when they wouldn't let him show his invention, but that's not what I'm thinking of.

I vaguely remember something like that. Did it maybe have a rotating "guest" cast of riffers, and they'd occasionally stop the movie and they'd be sitting around in a room and discuss something? Maybe if I think about it some more I can remember something else about it but it's likely I dismissed it as a cheap knock-off and didn't watch more than a few minutes.
Edit: I don't think I ever saw it but Frank Conniff wrote for a show called "Attack of the Killer B Movies" on NBC in '95 or so.

I notice in the store that Oozing Skull looks like it comes with a case. Does anybody know this for sure one way or another? At the live show in February, they had cases and artwork to go with our already purchased dvds and they also were selling copies in the cases. The store is showing the same cases and artwork we got so I think you can rest assured it will come that way. They seem to have learned from the early misstep of the EZTakes shipping system. Maybe RAD can verify my info here. In future, I think it would be smart to offer the cover art and cases separately as well for the folks who prefer the download to DVD system. Call me crazy but I might pick up another copy just to get the case. At least it's supporting a good cause. And I can always use my spare as a "loaner" copy to try and get other people interested. ;D Edit: Or maybe not, just found the other thread that mentions the cover is downloadable at EZTakes.

I originally thought Revenge of the Creature too since I had just watched it, but I rewatched where I thought it was (the cat and mice scene) and it wasn't there.
Edit: Couldn't find it in Transparent Man either.

I just skimmed through the scientist scenes in Teenage Werewolf and I'm pretty sure it's not there.

Can you think of any more specifics? Color or B&W, Sci-Fi or Comedy Central, Mike or Joel? I'm currently in Season 8 right now and keeping my ears open.
