Looks like the volume will have an interview with Rick Prelinger on it.

Is it possible the director of Delta Knights owns it? That was the case with Werewolf and Final Sacrifice. I believe it is owned by the Executive Producer but I haven't been able to confirm it.

No it say's the claim is from LEAK ID. They don't own media, they represent media companies and enforce copyright. so who is the claim from, Shout Factory? I don't know. Whoever has/claims ownership and the cash to hire a law group for them.

I'm sure it'll come out soon enough. Meanwhile I'm curious to know if they still have the master tape for Mr. B's Lost Shorts. (then again, I guess they could always just rip it from the Rhino release). I hope 4 and 5 sold well, otherwise 6 won't happen (They would have to clear Teenagers and Gunslinger from their respective rights-holders). Do the prints on V 5 look better than the Rhino version).

Easily the worst print of any MST episode that is commercially available. I stand by "Unwatchable". Even worse than Lost Continent from season 2 on the Volume 18 DVD set? Oh Worse.

it's very blurry but not to the point that you can't tell what's going on. "unwatchable" is an exaggeration. (it's still pretty bad though) Easily the worst print of any MST episode that is commercially available. I stand by "Unwatchable".

Due keep in mind that the print they used for Sidehackers looks terrible. Not all of the prints match up to the original rhino versions. The print? The print of the movie used in the original production of the episode isn't going to change. Do you mean Shout!'s video master of the episode looks worse than Rhino's? Yeah, It it is unwatchable. It looks like it was ripped directly off of youtube.

saying "something official soon" could just be them issuing a statement that the next set is still going to take a while to negotiate... That's better than nothing. I think we may get the Susan Nicholson Titles soon. I think there is a good chance they can happen (Unlike Godzilla vs the Sea Monster which ain't Ever happenin)

And yet I find myself wondering why half this board finds the show funny at all if they don't see the sarcasm in posts like that. But taking the post so seriously that you actually try do the math to disprove him...now THAT'S comedy. I wasn't taking it seriously. I was just bored and thought it was funny (And it was funny but not for the reason you are claiming). I mean A 9-year old could have done that math problem *Snap* like that so I'm not sure what your angling at. We don't all look at comedy like you do, and If you don't like that well I don't know what to tell you. As I correctly stated earlier, Comedy is subjective. But to get on topic... I've seen vol 10 in the wild a number of times. It usually costs 120 which is a pretty penny but not exactly enough to break the bank But it is high enough to deter collectors. I've seen some DVDS that go for 500 used which really puts a damper on the collectors spirit. The DVDs could easily go for about 70-80 which is more reasonable. I don't know why the resale market does some of the things it does. The Gamera set probably won't come back into print until the time it's off the market leaves enough new fans to justify the cost of re-licencing (If and when that ever happens)

Looking back, I wish I would have had the money to buy more than one copy of Volume 10 when it was coming out. I knew from the day it was announced that it was going to go out of print fast. I wish I could go back and buy like 20 copies. It would put my kids through college. 20 copies times average market resale price of $150.00 Minus the initial purchase of 20 copies at $50.00 equaling about two grand. Not quite enough to put someone through college (At least not a 4 year education).

I think the owner of Final Sacrifice just wasn't interested, and then he suddenly changed his mind. At least, that's what I remember Jordan mentioning in the interview. The owner of Soultaker just wasn't happy having to license the movie for the Mst3k version to begin with. some people have no sense of humor. I don't think that's why he was reluctant to licence it. Yeah I would bet money that It's Final Sacrifice.
