Unless you're going whole hog and using a film print plus tweaking the BBI footage so that's HD, it's barely an enhancement. All they do is run an episode through Topaz and call it a day. The fact they're tacking on that expense like it's some "bonus" is pretty silly.

For the record, here's the licensing info from the Season 13 box set.

Because Frank & Trace are old men now and need the movies edited down so they can be in bed by 8pm.

that has (what looks to be) the premiere airing of “Teenagers from Outer Space,” and it seems its initial airing didn’t have the slate card on it. Interesting. I overslept for the premiere of that episode (and they only aired it Saturday morning. It didn't get a replay due to a CC marathon that night, for several months). But that's very fascinating if indeed true. They definitely showed the slate for 405 on its first airing the next week.

Only time I can recall Servo with no hand is when he was duplicated by Gypsy in "Untamed Youth" during the cotton simulation host segment. Didn't fall off as far as we can see, but it's gone when he pops up out of Gypsy.

Looks like all of the other MST3K channels (like on Twitch, Tubi, Stirr, Roku, Sling, etc) will be getting season 13 entering rotation once a week starting Sunday April 2nd (then all the shorts on July 2nd). So it looks like Pluto's "exclusivity" was just for March.

Watch the first five minutes of Lost Continent on Gizmoplex, Shout, Twitch, or official DVD. There's what tape hits look like, and plenty.

Looks like the rights to four of the CT episodes that Shout has on their site/on streaming sites are expiring in the next few weeks (Blood of the Vampires, Danger on Tiki Island, East Meets Watts, and The Oozing Skull). I presume this means the DVD set will be going out of print as well, so if you've been waiting to pull the trigger on the Complete Collection, I'd do that sooner than later.

By the way, I don't have the volume with "Riding with Death" -- does the box say that was licensed from MGM? That's a Universal TV production so I'd be surprised if it wasn't licensed from Universal. It's MGM, but licensed to MGM from Universal. So it lists both in the Copyright.

Not on Shout! TV (as of 1/6/2021), but available in the "Ultimate Digital Collection": 307 Daddy-O 313 Earth vs. the Spider 315 Teenage Caveman 505 The Magic Voyage of Sinbad 514 Teen-Age Strangler 516 Alien from LA 602 Invasion USA 618 High School Big Shot 623 The Amazing Transparent Man 806 The Undead 808 The She-Creature 817 The Horror of Party Beach 1007 Track of the Moon Beast I should note that all of these are now on ShoutTV, Twitch, and other channels save for one: 516 Alien from LA. I went through and determined who owns what in terms of what's available for streaming. For what doesn't stream, this is what I discovered: - The biggest non-streaming culprits are episodes licensed from Paramount (2 current, 3 potential), Columbia Pictures (3), and Universal (9 and the Movie).
- All episodes licensed from MGM are on the stream but five: Alien from LA, Incredible Melting Man, Riding with Death, It Lives By Night, and Squirm. Alien from LA is the only one of those included in the Kickstarter digital pack.
- All AMC Networks licensed eps are on stream but one: Viking Women and the Sea Serpent.
- All episodes without copyright info on the DVDs (presumably public domain) are on the stream but two: Stranded in Space and Colossus and the Headhunters.

I seem to recall Cambot once "shook his head" in response to something in a letter reading. I forget the episode, though. Definitely a Joel era. And if you count being a ball of pure energy, he's in the end of Laserblast and the start of Revenge of the Creature.

BTW, so Josh was on tonight. Did they actually announce anything about him being in eps? Yes, at the end Joel quickly said that everyone there would be involved with the new season. We knew Conor and Baron would be, and Matt, but that also includes Josh and Tim Ryder. To what capacity, he didn't elaborate.

Monster A Go-Go and Secret Agent Super Dragon, when they run on Twitch, have slates (504's slate actually runs longer than the broadcast version, which was always truncated). I assume the DVDs would have them, too. I haven't checked to see if they're like that on Shout's on demand site.
(104 Women of the Prehistoric Planet has a slate on Twitch, as well, though it's not like the others. 1004 Future War has a Sci-Fi era slate on its Twitch airing.)
