I was lucky enough not to have that problem (though I have heard about it), but instead, for the first 2 years of my watching CC, we had the West Feed, despite living in the Eastern time zone. So if you wanted to watch MST3K, you had to always remember to add three hours to the time on the commercials (so it'd be on 1pm Saturday afternoon instead of 10am, and 10pm Saturday night instead of 7pm).

I actually do have the 2019 stuff datamined, it's just not yet been added. It's mostly by the book episode-order-following, except they started showing CT, FC, RT, and Backlots (the DVD special featurettes) on December 7th.

For anyone who likes the Twitch channel, but wants to know either what's on now or coming on in the next 24 hours, or what's been on and when (since the channel began), a few of us put this together: tinyurl.com/MST3Ktwitch820Always updated! (We know 24 hours ahead at a time thanks to the guide of the identical channel on Stirr.)

According to the production schedule on Tom's Temple, they didn't shoot the episode that much earlier than the rest of season 7. In fact, the Turkey Day version's host segments were shot AFTER the regular version's and show 702 in October. Did they typically shoot episodes that far ahead or was it something to do with incorporating the movie schedule? The movie was shot between seasons 6 and 7, closer to season 6. They were wrapped months before they even began filming season 7. And yes, they usually shot months ahead. According to the onscreen slates, for instance, season 5 began filming in February 1993, while Season 4 had just ended filming the prior month.

Is there any solid indication that they got the Gamera rights back completely, and this isn't just a one time, streaming only deal? None of the on demand sites are listed in that ad, like Tubi.

The episode is on ShoutFactoryTV's site now, and will presumably be streaming on PlutoTV or Tubi soon if it hasn't already. The episode is closed captioned, which definitely means they put some effort into it.

I echo so many here, but I will say one thing: Joel used to say the "right people will get it". The Netflix run feels like he abandoned that adage for "try to make everyone get it".

All episodes of all shows have title slates, we just don't see them on the air like we did for MST3K for that season and a half.
The date of completion is interesting, as it proves the episode wasn't completed until Feb 26, 1990, and thus, all earlier air dates listed for it are wrong. It couldn't have premiered any earlier than that date, and likely didn't debut until March 3rd!

Rights haven't expired. Most of the classic eps on Netflix are now available on Shout's website, and Tubi, and Twitch, etc (though it seems Hobgoblins isn't one of them, but that may change soon).

There's loads of episodes Shout has the DVD rights for that they haven't run on streaming yet. It's gonna be some of those, not episodes they don't have the rights to at all, like Gamera, Godzilla, or even Final Sacrifice.

Right, there was 14 minutes of promos on "Last of the Wild Horses". It may have been sourced from that comp, but it's missing a lot of them (every MST3K ep had about 3 promos: 1 for Saturday at 10am, 1 for Saturday at 7pm, and 1 for Next. The Next ones were most common, airing even with repeats, while the other two were usually only shown the week before the episode premiered).

Does anybody have a copy of Skyroniter's old Comedy Central Promo Comp disc? I used to have one but lost it. Here's the description of it from his old site:
37. Comedy Central Promo Comp A- (This won't be found anywhere else. Put together by a Comedy Central intern, features promos from episodes 310 through 514. Placards are included. The comp ends up with 36 '91 Turkey Day spots. This creative effort is 1hr 20minutes of fun!)

It did? Darn, I missed it!
Yeah, LeftFourDave, who runs Movievox, seems to have abandoned the bot for the most part. He used to check in once in a while to make sure it was running smoothly and add new quotes, but I haven't seen him since around Christmas at least. He never did add Phantom Planet to the schedule feature.
(Btw: this is Sir_STACK)
