Isn't the Merlin disc the one that has that 25 minute interview with Mike and Kevin? If Rhino own the rights to that extra we might not see it on a re-release from Shout Factory!...

Yes, it's interesting that after Joel left the Anderson references/riffs (Thunderbirds, Supercar, Stingray's "Stand by for action!" and him going down the slide UFO-style in the opening credits) stopped completely. There's a mention of Space:1999 in Time Chasers, but that might be the only one in the Mike era...

Also calling the villains in K02 the Mysterians/Mysterions despite them being called Mysterons in the title.

Loved the Anderson series all my life so it's wonderful to finally have K01 & K02. It's also really nice to see so MSTies here and elsewhere reacting so positively to these 'films'.

Can't afford the set until I get paid at the end of the month, but getting worried that might be too late for the bonus disc...

Thanks for The Incredible Melting Video. I'd always assumed that the girl found the fisherman's head during the first host segment, but instead that whole plot thread just goes nowhere.
I'd also always suspected there was missing material just before Judy's line "Everybody's gonna know about it by morning!" since it cuts to her so abruptly, but nope, that's part of the film too. Wish they'd kept in Dr Ted Nelson's reaction to his mother-in-law's death, though; that "Ohhhhh God" is classic Dr Ted Nelson.
Plus, does pre-melt Steve West remind anybody else of Pink Boy from Time Chasers?

The Incredible Melting Man. The reveal of his face, the nurse with half a skull missing, the fisherman's head taking a trip downriver and smashing on the rocks, the General getting a strip torn off his face...yeah, I'm amazed that one was ever considered suitable for the show. A funny episode, but an uncomfortable watch.

Doesn't look like the unMSTed movies from the Rhino set are included in this new set.

I struggle with Alien too. The film is just so dark and ugly to look at. I know that's an issue with a lot of MST'd movies, but usually I can cope with it. The world of Alien from LA just isn't a place I want to spend much time in.

If there's a shot of a junkyard or garbage pile then a Margot Kidder riff is often to be found nearby. Not too keen on those.
