You know, they have that commercial sign that they don't use any more (due to no commercials), maybe they can re-establish it as an experiment signal signifying the intro and do something this season. I don't really know what, but I feel they've used the tube for all it's worth. My thoughts exactly. If they must keep the tube, they could say Jonah hacked the SOL to bring back Magic Voice who could announce “ten seconds to tube sign” or something before it happens. Yeah the tube got real old real fast to say the least.

I grew up watching reruns of The Andy Griffith Show as a kid. I always loved the episodes featuring Gomer. Sad to hear of Mr. Nabors' passing. RIP and "Shazam!"

I think Joel didn't want any B&W films in season 11 because he thought it might turn away any potential new fans. Maybe that was an overly cautious approach, but it's one I can at least somewhat understand, especially with younger generations who see B&W movies and immediately tune out. Now that the re-launch of the show has established itself, I could easily see one or two B&W movies in season 12. Personally, I'd love to see them riff something like The Giant Claw in the new season.

Random Fact: UFC Hall of Fame member and Pride FC legend, Don "The Predator" Frye, starred in Godzilla: Final Wars. Just an interesting tidbit for any MMA fans out there.

I think The Killer Shrews is a pretty solid episode. I have a bootleg copy of it from Cheesy Flix that looks and sounds like garbage (one of only a few episodes from them that isn't good to great quality), so I hope this Shout re-release is an improvement. The only fairly weak episode in this set for me is Hercules Against the Moon Men.

Assuming the show does happen to get renewed sometime this year, the question then becomes, "how long do we have to wait for the new season to debut? Spring 2019?"

I was at a live show in August and, if I remember right, Joel said things were looking good and that Netflix had until the end of August to get negotiations done. Not sure what exactly that all meant. But odd that deadline passed with no word, then Sept. passed. There's a point where getting everyone back together may not be doable. I think we all had hopes that the second season would be when everyone would be able to breath and not put out such a rushed product, although I did enjoy that product. This is looking more and more like its a show on the cusp and if it is renewed, funding will be limited, hence we would get another rushed product trying to coordinate a bunch of busy careers. Perhaps that is better than nothing. After all, there are so many more great movies out there for riffing and Rifftrax has become too PG-13 to R-ish for me. I still watch and laugh, but I'm cringing more and more. I suppose it's possible that the reason the show never got renewed is because the cast couldn't figure out or agree on a time-frame to get back together. It could be that most of them are one-and-done because of their various schedules, thus rendering it impossible for Netflix to renew it. That's just a guess on my part. Everything at this point is pure speculation.

The complete radio silence from Joel and Grant's recent plea to Netflix on Twitter leads me to think that Netflix probably isn't returning their calls, so-to-speak. They aren't negotiating with Netflix because Netflix didn't see what they wanted to see when Season 11 went live. This could also mean that they're negotiating with another entity, but honestly, I don't know who would want a show that couldn't work on Netflix, if that's what happened. My best guess at this point is that either: A. They get picked up by a smaller cable channel. Like Pop or FXX or IFC. Or... B. In a few months, Joel will announce a smaller Kickstarter for 3ish direct-to-DVD/Shout streaming episodes. Grant's tweet basically smashes to pieces any theories that Netflix is just working out the finer details of Season 12 with Joel and Co. before making the renewal announcement. In fact like you said, it appears Netflix hasn't been in any discussion whatsoever about possibly renewing the show. This does not look good and I highly doubt we will see any more new episodes on Netflix. Oh well, I'd love to be proven wrong on this. Only time will tell.

Very cool. Such an odd looking "modern" house though... I'd live there.

I totally agree with you on Bloodlust! and I Accuse My Parents. I'm not sure how I forgot those in my list. Sidehackers though... I mean, it's far from being the worst film ever featured on the show, I'll give you that. At least Sidehackers has a more smooth plot you can follow unlike Hellcats where half the movie is just a bunch of biker hippies getting high and drunk. Yeah Hellcats is is pretty awful. As a movie, Sidehackers is definitely the best of the three biker movies on the show.

For me, Sidehackers, The Gamera and Godzilla movies, Zombie Nightmare, Wild Rebels, Escape 2000, It Conqured the World, Bloodlust, The Violent Years, I Accuse My Parents, just to name a few. I totally agree with you on Bloodlust! and I Accuse My Parents. I'm not sure how I forgot those in my list. Sidehackers though... I mean, it's far from being the worst film ever featured on the show, I'll give you that.

I’m guessing this has been done before in years past, but since I’m relatively new here, I wanted to make a post about it to see what people’s thoughts are: What movies, if any, did MST3K feature that you actually consider as decent or even good? In my opinion, Moon Zero Two, Space Travelers (Marooned), The Magic Sword, Tormented, The Girl in Lover’s Lane, Teen-Age Crime Wave, Girls Town, Kitten with a Whip, The Brute Man, Diabolik, The Land that Time Forgot, and At the Earth’s Core are all decent to fairly good movies. I wouldn’t consider any of these films as bad. What do you think? Am I missing any? Am I crazy for thinking any of these movies aren’t terrible?
