Just finished watching Evil Genius on Netflix. One of the weirdest cases ever. I had never heard anything about the Pizza Bomber before watching it. Definitely worth your time if you are into this kind of stuff.

HD doesn't matter to me on a show like this. So I was happy with DVD, it looks fine. But yeah, I pre-ordered with Amazon, and they give you the lowest price. So even if you ordered it at $60 or whatever, you'd get it for $47 by the time it's shipped. Same. I pre-ordered the DVDs on Amazon and got if for $47. Like you, I didn't want to shell out the extra bucks to upgrade to HD or Bu-ray. All the episodes of the original show I own are in DVD format so I didn't see the need to spend extra money just for the new season.

Starcrash. That movie is so unbearably boring to me for some reason. Jonah & the Bots riffing on it is very sub-par. Not a fan at all.

The Last Kingdom: A BBC show, featured on Netflix, based on the Saxon Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell. It's not the greatest show ever, but it is entertaining. The second half of season 2 really kicks things into gear. I'm a huge Cornwell fanboy, and while the series isn't as good as the books, it is still well done. David Dawson does a fantastic job in his portrayal of Alfred the Great. Recommended for anyone who enjoys early medieval history, action/adventure, and/or the show, Vikings.

Phantom Planet. The riffing starts off very strong for the first 30 minutes or so, but then just kinda peters out for me after that.
It's been a while since I've watched it, but if I remember right, The Unearthly is another episode that starts out strong (the riffing on the two shorts), but then becomes very 'meh' once the movie starts.

The Disaster Artist. Super funny and well made. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but it is a seriously fun movie. Make sure you stay after the credits to see a funny cameo appearance by none other than Tommy Wiseau himself.

For host segments, I'd love to see Mike cameo just as Joel made a cameo when Mike was host. Heck, maybe for the season 12 finale have Mike and Joel cameo and get all three of them in the theater! I would love to see this. I always thought it was a travesty that Joel and Mike never got to riff in the theater together, haha!
