I am bummed Club Scum isn't there any more. I know, right? Where is a scumbag like me supposed to hang out on the weekends when in LA these days?

I know this thread is for your images, but I wanted to share my photo from a 2013 to California's Bronson Canyon, home of Eegah, Robot Monster and many others: Too Bad you didn't have a "Billion Bubble Machine" to pose with.

I must be the exception to the rule as I was happy with the few discs I got from CF. They were all Sci Fi era episodes captured digitally from satellite though. Don't get me wrong, I have definitely been happy with my purchases from CF. I'm just saying don't expect grade-A quality with every episode you buy from them. Even the ones that don't look super great are still at least watchable.

I've purchased a couple dozen episodes from CheesyFlix and have been mostly impressed. There are however a few episodes that aren't the greatest quality that I have purchased from them... If I remember right, eps like Terror from the Year 5000, The Killer Shrews, and Fire Maidens of Outer Space don't look that great. On the other hand, their copy of Pod People is 10x better looking and sounding than the Shout Factory reissue...

I would hope that they'd proceed with Season 12. I view Season 11 as something of a shakedown cruise for the new cast & crew. So, now that they've all settled in, it'd be a shame to just end it again. It would be kinda awkward if the this revival series didn't at least have one more season. In my mind if it were to get cancelled right now, it would basically just go down as a weird almost pointless footnote in the history of the show.

I think the live show was probably the best version of the three they've done for Night. It wasn't great, but it was funny enough. Plus I got to see one of my favorite horror movies on the big screen so... I agree. It definitely wasn't one of their funniest live shows, but it did have some very funny riffs here and there that made it worthwhile.

Yojimbo and A Fistful of Dollars back-to-back for the first time. I had seen Yojimbo once before and A Fistful of Dollars several times before watching them both in the same day. Yojimbo is a great movie, but I definitely prefer Leone's take on the story in A Fistful of Dollars for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. I'm probably in the minority on this one.
Yojimbo 8/10
A Fistful of Dollars 9/10

The state probably didn't like the potshot made at BYU in The Time Travelers. There were actually several funny Utah references made in the new season. I can't remember them off the top of my head, but I know they made them!

Well, it looks like the MST3K live show in Salt Lake City was just cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances." I wonder what the exact reason was for the cancellation? Hopefully they won't have to cancel their other shows, although I won't be able to see it because I live in Salt Lake.

I would love to see a new season, but at the same time I'm not going to get my hopes up. If the show doesn't get renewed on Netflix, do you think there's a possibility they could just release new episodes independently, much like Rifftrax?

Another Steely Dan fan here. Their Countdown to Ecstasy album has been in my rotation pretty heavily this last week. This is my favorite from that album:

The Thing is easily one of my favorite movies of all time. I own the 2K scan on Blu-ray from Scream Factory, and it looks fantastic. Apparently Arrow Films in the U.K. is releasing a new 4K restoration of the film sometime soon, which should be interesting. I'm not sure if I want to spend more money on another copy of the movie, but I may do so eventually because Arrow does an awesome job at restoring films. It would be interesting to compare their version with my Scream Factory copy.

More shirts, featuring DVD art and... Mona Crow? The DVD art shirts is a really cool idea. I'll probably buy a few of those. The Mona Crow shirt seems a little weird though...

Still not sure I get the "bubble" scene wipes during host segments. Are they to cover up bloopers? Shorten segments that are too long? I think the bubble wipes are supposed to indicate a small leap forward in time. So yeah, it's basically there to shorten segments.

this: has everything (poorly dub, and people fighting men in a gorilla's suit, i kid you not*) *go 1 hour in. Ha ha! I love these old Shaw Brothers kung-fu movies. It would be interesting to see them riff one. This one is my favorite...
